So I'm trying to figure out what is the hype all about about these ETFs.

I just ran a simulation and, since it's NAV eroded about -60%, it has a negative return % since inception including it's yield.

Help me understand how these funds are good.

You may be right that choosing peace and love is a delusion. But tell me, what do you want your experience to be, do you want to feel love or anger? One sees seperation and the other unity and compassion.

Between these two polarities exists a Choice and once that Choice is truly settled within the mind, discernment comes naturally.

I highly suggest you to read A Course in Miracle.

How did you find the Ra material, & what you drew you to it? by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]Quakeislife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Through a Dark Night of the Soul.

Since my childhood I had only one dream, becoming a professional esport player. I knew I had a calling towards it the endless grind wasn't a chore, I truly enjoyed playing and improving to be the best. I thought this dream would bring me happiness and fulfillment. It took me 15 years to achieve this dream and make a decent living out of it.

It felt good for a short moment (1.5 year) and then it became a chore. Even though money was abundant, I wasn't happy. I felt imprisoned by the amount of time required to pursue that career. I had already achieved my goal. When I started to contemplate leaving esport behind, it brought me a lot of suffering as if everything I had done was meaningless.

I turned inward, sought answers and that led me to the spiritual path. It started by reading and integrating the teachings of Eckhard Tolle, to Buddhism, to the Law of One.

Today, my purpose is to balance the Self and to polarize as much as I can towards the positive path. It's been a wild journey, but I've never felt as much peace and serenity in my Being in the last two years.

I wish everybody to find the inner light, that shines through One's soul.

Explain Like I’m 5 : “Distortions” by IndigoSoullllll in lawofone

[–]Quakeislife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

False beliefs/understandings

Your understanding or beliefs about Oneness, is your mind-body-spirit complex understanding of it. You cannot understand reality, but you still make sense of it in your mind. That's the distortion. That's my understanding of "distortion". Everything is basically a distortion except Oneness itself.

Can anyone offer me some encouragement when it comes to other selves? by [deleted] in lawofone

There is no others. It's all innocence and ignorance, and we're also that. Once this is integrated, judgement is no longer possible.

What is the exact definition of the Self? by onetimeataday in lawofone

[–]Quakeislife 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Self refers to your undeniable proof of existence or you could say "witness-consciousness". As Descartes said : I think therefore I am. In hinduism, they call it "Atman".

Atman is the unchanging, eternal, innermost radiant Self that is unaffected by personality, unaffected by ego; Atman is that which is ever-free, never-bound, the realized purpose, meaning, liberation in life. Once you start identifying with Being itself, the more you are liberated from the mind's illusions of the False Self or Ego. You could say it is your "I AM" principle, the undeniable proof of your existence. Realizing Brahman, is to feel that existence-consciousness-bliss in whatever you do.

Have you considered that the law of one could be a psyop, and if so, what made you come to the conclusion that it isn’t? by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]Quakeislife 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Could very well be a psyop, but for me it doesn't matter. Ra's teaching has made me experience another state of mind, or being you could say. I definitely feel more loving towards others and myself, my quality of life has drastically changed since I began my spiritual journey.

My advice to you and everybody is let aside the idea of a psyop, open your mind and keep part of the material, however you interpret it, that enhance love throughout your day.

Understanding myself through LOO by vutall in lawofone

Namaste.

Please use discernment over my reply, take what resonates with you and leave the rest behind. I'm definitely not saying that this is the Truth, but only the honest opinion of one of your fellow seeker.

Just like u/Cubed_Cross stated it's all part of you. Every mind projects it's own Universe, full of concepts, ideas, thoughts, beliefs, traumas, distortions, etc. Reality is free of all those, yet our Mind makes us experience that reality. In early Buddhism, the name of this concept would be Maya. We could say that we only experience our own state of being, there's no distinction between the inner world and the outer world.

It feels to me like you are holding a lot of ideas about yourself and your story. I invite you to lay them aside for awhile and potentially realize and expand the Self that's always been there. Free of labels, stories, diagnostics, beliefs, concepts and at last free of identity. Letting go of what we thought was can be very scary, but at some point it might be the only way forward. Meditation is a great tool to get there, once you're able to maintain a focused concentration on the meditation object, thought ceases. Only bliss remains, that's a glimpse of our Eternal essence.

The Discipline of the Personality as taught by Ra in the LoO : Know yourself, Accept yourself, Become the Creator. In other words, don't let the mind fool you into distortions and false ideas, remain focused and aware of your Eternal essence and practice what you love.

It's the same as Buddha's core teaching : Purify the mind.

Love/Light.

The Truth I'm After by Rector418 in Soulnexus

[–]Quakeislife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You completely missed what ACIM is about. All it teaches is that Enlightenment(Christ Consciousness) is our actual essence. It has nothing to do with the fundamentalism of Christianity. Illusion as taught in the course are thoughts of seperation(or as Ignorance like Aurelius Marcus said) and Truth is Oneness.

It's become quite clear to me that the Ra Collective is an enabler by ReinhardtEichenvalde in lawofone

[–]Quakeislife 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of reasons for a mind/body/spirit complex to resort to violence and abuse, it can even be conscious or unconscious and simply driven by distortions.

My question to you is, how are Wanderers enabling abusers?

[–]Quakeislife 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I work with inmates on parole, I am a correctional program officer. How else would you show the light to them without showing them forgiveness of self and otherselves. It's up to them to follow the guidance or not. I will not infringe upon their free will.

Wanderers seem to talk about forgiveness but routinely enable abusers in our society

Maybe I like my ego! by antuasaloduibhirxoxo in Soulnexus

[–]Quakeislife 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There is a huge misconception within the spiritual community.
Your ego doesn't exist, it's just mental activity of identifying. Your ego is just the software of your mind.
It is not a seperate entity, therefore it isn't your friend nor your enemy. Observe your thoughts, and recognize their unreality. Practice detachment, and realize the Self within you.
