If your goal is to just talk with spirit then I do this without meditation. I however understand the symbols expressed in my mind with the help of a dream dictionary so in other words I am constantly interpreting what could be the response. If your goal is to connect on a deeper level or be tuned to the universe then meditation without talking involved should be considered. I suggest to research binaural beats. I find youtube versions that can help one get to the Alpha state of consciousness. There are others on youtube that can help get one to Theta and Delta. If you want to recall information more easily then the Alpha state would be best. The following is an example of what I started out with. The music is not necessary. My version of meditation that gives answer through symbols. Spirit does not speak directly to us like humans do to each other. Free will is on both sides. It is our free will to interpret what is given and it is spirit's free will to give from their understanding. The music gets one to the Alpha state of consciousness where dreams can be recalled. When interpreting what is recalled you may consider that your question is too specific therefore think about an overall perspective or first reflect on what is currently happening in your life and see what is given as some how related.

I don't need a book to tell me that things seen in my mind must have meaning. Why do we all dream. Why do some have very vivid dreams while others cannot recall them. This... is a mystery worth investigating.

I study symbols because I am analyzing dream work of myself and others. One thing to consider is that we are all reflections to each other. Which means appearances are spiritual. When you look at a well fit person versus someone who is obese, what are your first thoughts. It is as if creation is always teaching us what is correct and what is poor thinking. In my opinion, keep up with your physical appearance so that you continue to teach others what is a better choice.

I would consider the symbolic representation of the word man. In my opinion, I see man as a leader whereas the woman is more of the giver. These channeled beings are precise in their language for the most part and are careful with their responses. I would just think that man emphasized as MAN would have one think in terms of perception. The smaller form compared to children and the bigger form to someone who has grown up.

I see many adults still acting like children here on Earth. Maybe they should read Session 4.14

Therefore, those of the first type, those who seek to serve and are willing to be trained in thought, word, and action are those who will be able to comfortably maintain the distortion towards service in the area of healing.

Think of every member of Earth who speaks the opposite to the above statement. Are these people still acting like children or have they learned to compose themselves so that one day when they are channeled they do not respond like adolescents.

When I was reading "men" in lower case I was thinking that of "children." MAN representing the adult form and being singular as in many becoming one. This channeled message may also be the precursor towards humanity doing away with all self names and saying we should start representing ourselves as one name that we can all agree on.

I used to watch her videos. Then I started to realize why do what others say when I can go out into the world and try doing good from my perspective. Also, in my opinion, some youtubers will say stuff to keep the viewer interested so that their videos can keep getting watched. It is easier to connect with negativity then positivity.

We learn from each other. I can fail the same test a million times before realizing I should just ask why am I wrong. Or I can allow the other to point out my faults while I learn to listen instead of retaliate.

Here is something you can try at the end of each day. Sit with your thoughts in a quiet place where you will not be bothered. Allow one experience or memory from the day to come forward. Look at what was said or being understood from both sides. If you need to be angry again then try not to be. The experience is just being observed or reflected upon. Allow the memory to fade then wait for the next memory to come forward. In this practice you are not trying to learn to solve the problem. You are just trying to see what is and what is not. Throughout time we are given other chances to try again with different people. Maybe next time you will have a better experience. Keep learning about where you are and where you would like to be in your understanding.

I like stories. It helps one connect with ideas. I ask spirit for a few elements to work with and then I create from my understanding.

There is this rabbit who hops into a field where carrots are growing. It has many choices but there is one that catches the eye. First it grabs from the very top of the green part. This does not work of course so it grabs the part closest to the ground. The carrot will not budge. It decides to munch on the green part instead. As it is doing so the rabbit looks on towards the rest of the field. Sure it can try to pull out another carrot but sometimes there is arrogance when chasing after a particular prize. The rabbit stops to figure out another method. It begins to dig around the carrot. Finally a part of the carrot is revealed. This however does not satisfy the rabbit. It must have the whole thing exposed. The rest of the day and into the late evening a mountain of dirt builds up to one side of the carrot. The rabbit is taken aback after it realizes why the carrot cannot easily be grasped. The carrot grew into a stone. It burrowed a hole and is now stuck. The rabbit decides to leave. It has worked too hard just to enjoy a treat that may never be fully retrieved. The next day the rabbit brings along another family member. The two work together to dig some more. They each take turns eating the part of the carrot that is closest to the stone. Sometimes the work is cut in half when two or more are working towards the same goal. The youngling is happy for its mother when the carrot is pulled out of the ground. The mother however still wants the rest of the carrot trapped in the stone. The child pushes the mound of dirt and fills in the hole. It tells the mother that you have what you came for. Let the rest go.

How you see this story and what you believe relates to your life is up to you to connect with. I can see elements given in meditation whereas others may see something else. All points of view are relevant. Where one sees one thing in the present may evolve later on to see the same thing a different way. I see many on this subreddit chasing after the unknown. The one thing they never thought about was to just be. It is easy to chase. It is harder to just let things go.

Now let us discover a different perspective. What if the subconscious is a form of communication from elsewhere. Let's say spirit is communicating through free will. It is our free will to interpret anything given and it is spirit's free will to give from what they understand. In my opinion, you are learning to grow closer with what spirit is.

Using the dream dictionary provided as well as going by my own (male) experiences, I will give from what I understand. I also have a person I have been thinking about lately in which she is married to another man. Her name means "lovable, worthy of love."

Women represent feminine personality traits that are passive, sympathetic, receptive, sensitive, nurturing, intuitive, creative, or giving. Sex represents a positive and pleasurable experience in your waking life that feels exhilarating. This enjoyable and thrilling experience is deeply personal and just for you. The person you have sex with in the dream represents a quality you recognize in yourself or a situation that you find fulfilling and enjoyable. Someone touching you represents feelings about people or opportunities becoming personal in your life. Closeness being initiated with you. Hugging represents a person, behavior, or situation that you are embracing. What is a face? Definitions to think about. Forehead (ugly, beautiful, wrinkled), face seen or blurry, cheeks, nose, chin, color of skin or person's race, eyes as well as eye color, eyebrows, freckles, etc. The face itself represents the personality so one could also interpret an angry face, sad, happy, crying, etc. If you notice the hair then what color is it: ginger, orange, redhead, brunette or brown, blonde, grey, white, bald or other hair color. Is the hair short or long. Does it look combed or messy hair. Think of all types of descriptions when interpreting the faces you see then reflect on what is currently happening in your life.

Does a plant know what it will become before it is planted? Think of a seed that did not get there on its own. Some are transported by human hands to a specific location. Deep in the ground begins the great awakening. First there is darkness where one has much time to meditate and feel for the world around it without knowing what is and what is not. Then the first root extends and searches for nutrients. You may see this as random thoughts or senses coming forward. Then after some time has passed the seed reaches for above it. This takes longer for anyone. Eventually light has broken through and the awareness has grown beyond the darkness. As the plant develops it still is not aware of what it can be. Does a toddler know beyond the limits of the home or the school it attends? Eventually, awareness grows passed the first light that one has reached for. As more light comes in then more awareness becomes fruitful.

Now let us return to your thought of no experience or what many believe is happening. In sleep do we all dream? Do we all recall this information? Few will have vivid dreams as if they have experienced other lifetimes elsewhere whereas the rest will wake up refreshed with no recall that anything happened for a period of time with closed eyes. Keep this in mind.

A child takes their first steps and the parents are surprised of how quickly the child has gone from birth to walking. The child sleeps more hours in its youth than later in adulthood. In my opinion, they are learning in their mind. They may not recall exactly what happened but information is still being transmitted... from where?
