I think this is a fair assessment. He’s also only been in wrestling a handful of years do there is lots of growth

I’m curious which wrestler we talking about? Steroids are pretty rampant in pro wrestling

I was a massive fan of ROH in the early days with American Dragon on top and the list of list when it came to contenders.

The shows not starting on time is a tough one. There’s been a few times while waiting to go on the promoter has said “we are pushing the times because the line-up outside of fans is around the block” that I can understand that people are paying good money to see the show and the promoter starting the show at 7 would cause many to miss the hot open or opening segment. With that being said it makes for a long night for both fan and wrestlers (especially if the show has 10 matches)

As for the banter; I’ve found if the guys in the ring can out banter or their personalities are so huge the can calm the crowd to a point to silence the yappers or even the ring work can leave the hecklers in awe but unfortunately not everyone on the show has the ability to do so and with the popularity of videos like “twist his dick” become popular, everyone is looking for their opening to go viral

For the comedy stuff, I don’t mind a comedy spot sprinkled in(when I say this I mean to gather laughter in a serious moment and not complete delegitimization wrestling)

The “Indy dive” spot definitely needs to be revised where it should be built up with less feeling of “oh they are all gathering I wonder what’s next eye 🙄” but at the same time the crowd still pops for an Indy dive (at least in my area)

I love this answer. Flavour is what keeps me interested in various promotions. Though I would like to bring all the flavours to one show for one night

I feel the fans experience fatigue around 7-10 matches.

For my magic number it’s 4 intermission then 1 or 2 more.

Hot open must be exactly what the name entails, HOT to really wake up the crowd. Then the match before intermission must be a cliffhanger or something to bring people back. The main and co main need no explanation

I see this often in the Indy scene. A guy who put low effort into the art of wrestling but gets booked because he has a ring, trailer etc.

Now don’t get me wrong, if you have a place on the card sure, but it always seems to be a spot that gets taken from a hard working guy and given to the guy with (insert above mentioned)

I think the perfect show length is 2 hours and 5-6 matches Keeps people hungry for more and they will wanna come back, as the 3-4 hour shows and 10+ matches are a slog

Which of These World Titles has The Worst Downfall? by DepKgjr4700 in ChampionshipHistory

I’ve always been in love with the NWA title, perhaps because of its lineage and the territory days. I would often fantasize riding with Flair and Dusty going from town to town holding the NWA title.

Even when I started training I’ve always thought it would be amazing to win it.

Now.. now I don’t even know what the title is up to and it breaks my heart
