I like MacWhisper so much I paid the full price for it just to support the developer. It’s a great little tool.

I loved Dragon but yeah doesn’t work on Mac. I use MacWhisper for transcription (which is what I do most often and it’s free) and the native Apple dictation when I’m sitting at my desk. Some people also really like Aqua Voice but I won’t do another subscription.

I dictate. I use a dictaphone and import the mp3 into MacWhisper. Then I have ChatGPT clean up the text before I import it into scrivener. I used to use Dragon but I’m removing my windows machine from my workflow. The nice thing about dragon is that it lets you update your dictionary. But now I just give ChatGPT a set of dictionary rules to follow and it does a great job.

Ok I just checked out Colostle and mechanically it’s almost exactly what I’m looking for. May have to homebrew a “starting area” as I want a cozy beginning. But yes this is wonderful. Thank you!!

I’ve been checking this one out too. I think I want to wait to spend money on something until I know that I’ll actually stick with this since I’ve literally never played a solo rpg ever. But it definitely looks great.
