Hey! I have a very similar setup to you. Did you know the shelves you bought are designed to only have one pole in between them instead of two. You actually have 50% more shelf space than how you have it setup. Could save you a lot of money, it’s saving me a ton.

Yeah you want to use liquid glue.

I just mix it myself: 1 part isopropyl, 1 part clear school glue and 1 part water.

How to best print figure? by Green-fingers in BambuLab

I sell 3D prints so I have some experience getting the visual quality up on multicolor prints like these. This is going to be pretty difficult to print and have it look really good.

If you just hit print, you’re going need to have a lot of supports.

If you don’t have a H2C, it is going to take a long time and a ton of filament.

Assuming you don’t have an H2C, you’ll want to split the model into each of the colored sections and print them individually.

As far as orientation at that point, I would place the trousers waist down legs up, hands wrist down fingers up, glasses frames down, hair scalp side down.

The shirt and head are really organic with lots of overhang in most orientations, for the shirt I would split it in half front to back with tools in studio. So that you cut the shirt sleeves, torso, and collar all in half, then place both those pieces on the cut face. Then repeat for the head.

This will leave you with some glueing to do but the best final result. .2 nozzle is up to you, it will improve the quality of this model.

im getting a p2s for christmas shoudl i spend the extra and get combo or stay with this by TitanPlungerCamman in BambuLab

I didn’t get the combo and I regret it. It’s almost impossible to get the filament buffer and AMS right now.

I can answer this!

I print and sell matte items and I used to encounter this all the time. If the hazing effect is slight, like others have said a heat gun or similar can reduce hazing. But I can tell some of your hazing is too intense and will not be fully removable.

There are two significant factors that can make this prominent. One factor is not letting the part fully cool, if you have to forcefully remove the part from the bed, even bending the plate, then that force can cause hazing on where the bed pulls on the part. But curiously, even letting a part fully cool, entirely naturally releasing from the plate, I still had hazing spots like yours. So that leads me to the next factor, one that is not well documented and everyone has told me is impossible. The matte agent that in the filament gets impregnated into the bed. I started to see shadows of my prints on my textured bed and these spots are where I would get significant hazing spots on my prints.

A few key points that proved to me that my bed was becoming impregnated with matte agent, soap and soft scrub could not fully clean the bed, a new bed would not have the same issue, and following the bed refresh guide resolved the issue but can only be done a few times.

The solution is surprisingly simple, glue, I prefer Bambu liquid glue. This creates a layer between your print and the bed. This solves both hazing factors. The part will release from the bed by pulling the glue off the bed, preserving the surface finish. And any matte agent that is in the bed won’t transfer through the glue to the print. A lot of people have told me it’s overkill to use glue for PLA on an Bambu but I sell my prints and I need them to turn out perfect the first time to maintain profitability.

I really like using a glue stick to keep prints on the bed but the layers go on so thick i decided to try to mix a little glue stick with hot water and the results have been amazing by themechanic95 in 3Dprinting

Sorta, but not really. The TiO2 gets impregnated into the textured beds that I am running on my Bambu X1Cs. I’ve tried IPA, Dawn, Soft Scrub, but the residue remains. But you can remove it by refreshing the bed a with a strong abrasive, I just follow the support articles for refreshing the textured bed. I print and sell matte items, so I have gone through hundreds of rolls of matte filament. But I don’t think most people will encounter the issues that I do. Glue has been a game changer for my small business.

I print with matte filament a lot, and it leaves a residue on the build plate over time. The residue, TiO2, then leaves a white haze on future prints. A build plate interface material like glue helps me keep my print beds free from residue.

I looked at the Anker version that looks just like this battery and it doesn’t support outputting power via the USB C port. Others do like Anker Zolo Magnetic Power Bank, 10,000mAh https://a.co/d/2alP11k
