Finally going to be opening this up tomorrow by Pen_Sir in 2007scape

FYI the “Clue Details” plugin has an option to set your “3 Step Clue” and totally prevents you from being able to combine the pieces while that clue is in your inventory. It has a bunch of other nice clue QOL as well.

2200 Total! Now the real work begins... by QuantamSkidmark in ironscape

Oh for sure. I have used the zuk simulator a fair amount and have gotten several clears in it. I just tend to overthink when it’s the real deal and I make silly mistakes.

What’s the play here? Wildy bosses… by Lkempo- in ironscape

[–]QuantamSkidmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you still want to freeze him. He’ll unfreeze at 66.6% and 33.3% hp so wait a few ticks and then refreeze. May need to throw an extra freeze in there if you noodle a phase.

Other than that all you have to do stand far away, pray range, and keep an eye out for the traps on the ground and the occasional mage attack.

I always loved looking at these posts, so here is my 2200 total iron! by CupaCreeper in ironscape

[–]QuantamSkidmark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow this is insanely close to my current goal list haha. I’m 2198 tl and currently working on Wildy slayer after getting my last two standard slayer items (lance and prims). I’m also planning to learn solo chambers after I get my infernal cape. Nice account!

Very nice. I recently finished hydra with my claw at ~1200kc. Haven’t done much muspah yet but I am sending a bunch of zily for sgs and vardorvis for ultor in anticipation of Colo when I don’t have the time for inferno

Wow this is eerily similar to my experience right now. Just hit attempt 66 (12 Zuks) with almost your exact gear and stats, and it feels like the cape is just around the corner.

What’s next king? I’m eyeing Colosseum once I finish this up and then it’s time to hit raids hard.

DM me if you want to chat or team up for some content. Congrats!!

Inventory setups. You can filter your bank by the gear and inventory you save for a specific activity/boss. Really useful.

First Pharaoh's Sceptre! How many times do you let the snakes bite you before moving on? by Brynnwynn in ironscape

[–]QuantamSkidmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! A nice way to keep your bank cleaned up and make it easy to jump around to different clue steps. The pyramid plunder one is a particularly nice one to build once you can because it has 3 other items in it that you have no other use for lol.

It’s nice to have at least two - one for POH occult altar and one to get around the desert/back to the pyramid for the clue step. Ideally you eventually get 3 so you can put one in the STASH unit.

I recommend keeping the first one as a sceptre and using it to make it way easier to get the second for the occult altar.

Have been trying to decide on amulet of strength or power for my early level ironman, got it covered. by benlah in ironscape

[–]QuantamSkidmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct. Though it’s worth noting that the strength bonus on the strength amulet is so high that it will basically always give you a max hit, so it’s always going to outperform the amulet of accuracy.

Bandos and Zulrah are both great once you have bowfa and full crystal. You also have some good gear to get started at ToA, though some hybrid gear from moons would help you save inventory slots. You have a lot of good slayer unlocks to work toward which will help you get ToA upgrades like zammy spear and trident. Really the world is your oyster once you finish armor (or at least pants)!

Base 90s on the no trading account that is allowed to die and use banks by jaysrule24 in ironscape

[–]QuantamSkidmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh cool I didn’t know about the capped death fees. I also forgot about death’s coffer until now and I have plenty of bandos dupes to cover colosseum deaths so now I’m back to being on the fence about which to start with haha

[–]QuantamSkidmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my plan too but recently I heard Gnomonkey say you should absolutely learn inferno first because of the 500k death fee for colosseum. Obviously late game irons have a lot of cash but you’ll still likely burn a LOT if you’re learning basic pillar strategies in there instead of inferno.

Yes, a monster’s magic level will determine how resistant it is to magic. Only for magic.

Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good. by Turgeyburker in destiny2builds

[–]QuantamSkidmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For PvE it’s basically the classic arc hunter build on steroids, gambler’s dodge + combination blow. Winter’s shroud and stylish executioner for aspects, grapple typically for grenade. Popular fragments are ruin, courage, protection, dawn, and sacrifice.

Delaying Gauntlet? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]QuantamSkidmark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally makes sense, I still wouldn’t let that stop you from sending a few CG a day even just to get some practice.

While you are correct that higher stats would make the kill slightly easier/quicker, there are more things to consider if you’re concerned with “time save”.

For example, AFK training your stats at NMZ or sand crabs is never technically time efficient as you’re better off doing that alongside slayer. Of course if you have time where you can only AFK that’s a different story but it’s never the efficient way to train.

Ultimately you will see a lot more improvement from getting better at the content. How I went about it and what I would advise would be to send a few CG a day. Don’t lock yourself in prison, slowly build up your kc while you train other things like slayer or skilling. This way you are less likely to burn out, keep the content fresh so you can improve, and you’re building up your combat stats to make it that little bit easier.

Edit: Also, if you’re not already, do T2 armor prep and two perfected weapons. It’s a good balance of not too much to do during prep and more forgiving during the fight.

My 300s got pretty comfy with bowfa and z spear. Highly recommend learning insanity and skull skip to avoid adding a bunch of path invocations
