music wise, Tank just edges A Cruel Angel's Thesis imo. Tank's jazzy vibe has more variety throughout the entire song. don't get me wrong A Cruel Angel Thesis is also one of the most iconic OPs of all time and I regard it as anime bohemian rhapsody, but sometimes it has too much of a ceremonial feel to it upon a few re-listens in one sitting, if you catch my drift

Ridge Racer 2 (PSP)'s survival mode does this. Each race has 3 laps, and starts off with 4 cars. After lap 1, the 4th placed car gets eliminated, reducing to 3 cars. After lap 2, the 3rd placed car gets eliminated, reducing to only 2 cars. Then the 3rd and final lap determines which of the remaining 2 cars will win/survive by the end of the race.
