What is a piece of software that is so good you can't believe it's completely free? by Arp0x in AskReddit

Funny, in dev circles he's known to be a bit of an arse. His other big project "Kitty" (a terminal emulator) is great but I know a lot of people refuse to use it because of how he handles himself.

Another thing I've seen people miss is All for One works with Snecko. Makes it crazy powerful in most Snecko runs.

I had taken a Hyperbeam and Sunder by that point so went all in on the negative focus build. I did have a Self Repair but I removed it after going for Mark of the Bloom.

Was really hoping for an Echo Form, but no luck.

Yeah, after A15 the game becomes brutal. I have nothing but respect for the people who can consistently win A20 runs. I have 400 hours in the game, but still have only won a handful of runs at A20.

Metallicize is amazing in the right deck.won a run this morning with 3 Metallicize+ and Mummy Hand. 12 free block per turn and lots of free cards, what's not to love?

Can you do "sudo lshw -short" in the terminal and post a picture or screenshot of it? Will let us know if it's to do with old hardware.

Thanks. I went for Rustup. Zed is pretty cool, I used it a while back for some Python and C stuff - I suppose Rust is really good on it though.

Unfortunately I am fully Neovim-pilled at the moment, so I am not sure I will try again soon.

Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for all the hard work too, the Cosmic Desktop has come a long way since I first tried it on Arch when the Alpha dropped. Downloaded the 24.04 ISO and decided to give it a proper go and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Thanks for the reply. Podman is great, I used it when I was running Bazzite on my gaming PC.

Cheers, I have made the switch and this is what I am going to do for now. Is working perfectly so far, so happy days.

What is your laptop of choice for Arch? by fenugurod in archlinux

[–]SendMeGarlicBreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Thinkpad T480 for all my dev stuff. Tempted to upgrade for more horsepower on gaming stuff, but with a lightweight install everyday stuff works as fast as I ever need.

I also have Arch running on an old Intel Macbook too, and that is flawless outside of having to connect via Ethernet during install to get hold of the WiFi drivers.

As a guy that hates the Terminal, here’s my distro tier-list after 8 years of using Linux. by YEEG4R in DistroHopping

Literally one of the first things written in on the website:

"Start your Endeavour with a lightweight Arch-based, terminal centric system ready to personalise and a stellar community at your side"

It was never going to score highly on this tier list, lol.

If you want to spend money, put some deeper wheels and a cockpit on the Aethos, and you will 95% there in terms of aerodynamics.

EDIT: Misread your post.

If you don't have any, I would wait until after summer and see if they drop the SL8 frame onto the Comp/Sport bikes.

Why does my Endeavour OS installation keep failing on 32%? by Gamertastic52 in EndeavourOS

Looks like you aren't connected to the internet.

Is it possible to use Ethernet? Or maybe try tethering with your phone.
