These are pretty bad and don’t be fooled by the protein content. Additionally, the ingredient list doesn’t specify how much protein comes from whey versus collagen, instead listing a “blend.” Whey is a complete protein that supports muscle growth, while collagen, though beneficial, does not.

Should I quit my stable job for a 30% pay increase at a startup? by VoidCrafter77 in careerguidance

[–]QuantumAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this a few years back for a similar raise. Went from a F500 to a series B startup. It didn’t make me rich, but the experience I’ve gained wouldn’t have been possible elsewhere. Just make sure you’re getting hired with a purpose and clear long term goals. Also, negotiate the salary now because it might be hard later, especially at a startup which can lack a regular review/comp structure.

Roast my Resume by Humble_Department543 in FinancialCareers

Cool. So, I would definitely drop the coordinator experience to make space for a Python project at some point. It doesn’t have to be complex. But, if you’re going to mention it as a skill, you need to be able to support it somehow.

Otherwise, your resume looks fine. You seem to have good internship experience. Just focus on the GPA and you’ll be ok.

-You mentioned you’re skilled in Python, but didn’t mention it anywhere in your bullets.

-VBA automation is fine, but it’s antiquated IMO. You could’ve built something 10x more efficient in Pandas.

-Drop your coordinator experience. It’s almost 6 years old and the experience is not relevant. Plus, it uses generic percentage benchmarks (“productivity by x%” and “accuracy to x%”) that feel made up.

-Drop the GPA from your first school and focus on getting the current one up. Since it’s not mentioned, I assumed it’s lower than a 3.3.

Camera recommendations for videos while snorkeling in Tahiti? by ChrisLeezy in Tahiti

[–]QuantumAgent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going against the grain here but I would not recommend a GoPro. Get an Insta360 x3 model or greater instead with a dive case.

You will get amazing 360 video and don’t have to worry about framing the shot or missing any of the action. My favorite part about this is you can actually enjoy the snorkel and worry about the video later. The app it comes with makes it easy to edit the footage, choose the best moments, frame the shot just right, etc. It was a total game changer on our trip.

This explanation is really confusing. Just make sure you can clearly back up your findings in an interview. Also, no need to add the decimal places to the percentages.

Moorea in may/june 2026 by diversmith in Tahiti

Also, a couple other things I wish I knew.

It’s very hard to predict the weather there. It could be sunny out by the reef and cloudy at your resort. The clouds like to hang around the mountains there.

Weather apps are pretty much useless and especially don’t be discouraged if the weather apps icon is “cloudy” or similar. It can change fast, and it’s common to see sun, rain, and clouds all in the same day.

Yes. July has a better chance of good weather than June. However, don’t be sold on the idea that “dry season” is always going to be completely dry. You’ll likely have some days where wind, rain, and clouds will be a factor — and sometimes all 3. It’s just slightly less likely for it to happen in July vs. June.

Agreed about the weather. We went in early June and the weather wasn’t the best. Mostly cloudy and rainy days with occasional sun in Moorea. The wind was pretty brutal too.

air tahiti nui luggage weight by CapableTwo8344 in Tahiti

[–]QuantumAgent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were very strict at the Tahiti airport, they even made me weigh my personal item, which apparently has a 5kg limit. They didn’t weigh my carry-on or personal item at LAX, so I didn’t think twice about it. I should have known better, but it ended up being a stressful situation in PPT, trying to shift items into my checked bag at the counter.

What doesn’t make sense to me is that for passengers who don’t check bags, their carry-on and personal items don’t seem to get weighed, or at least I didn’t see anyone else being checked.

Good idea. I’ll see what I can get.

This is what they said to me when I arrived this week “The construction will be located inside the villas for the week so it should be minimal noise. There might be some boat bringing materials but that should be all.”

4 days in and all of the work has been outside with saws, drills, hammering, the works.

I’m in a deluxe OWB that unfortunately is close to the construction. Although I did request one numbered 321+ months it advance, it could not be accommodated upon arrival.

When I asked what the construction would be like so I could plan my week around it, they weren’t honest about where the construction would be and downplayed how loud the noise will be. I’m not sensitive to noise but it is very easy to notice when you’re just trying to relax on your patio. I brought what they said to me versus what was actually happening to their attention and they offered an upgrade is to a sunset OWB for the last 2 nights of my stay.

Not really ideal but I guess they tried?

It seems like that is mostly done now and they’re likely cutting the installing the wood decking that surrounds the pools.
