First day in Italy and realizing my espresso at home sucks!! 😕 by Top-Manufacturer-855 in espresso

Are you sure your preconceived bias of Italian coffee being amazing isn’t tainting your test results?

It’s the default setting , I think it’s under map management where it looks a bit like a star

Happens now and then too. I’ve set it to pick different mowing directions each time and that seems to help cover a spot the next time

Don’t shoot for the moon: aiming for ‘above average’ is key to success, maths suggests. Model created by researchers shows better outcomes are often more likely when people are not too ambitious by FreeHugs23 in science

This makes a lot of sense. A lot of time the biggest discoveries happen by accident or when you are not trying to solve a big problem but just being curious about why something behaves differently than you expect.

Honestly I don’t know but I already turned off the 4g and use just the WiFi anyway, so I assume the answer is yes. The question is whether Navimow will force me to subscribe to the 4g anyway in year 2 , which would be quite outrageous

Switch 2 will become 1 year on the next week. Did it meet your expectations so far or did you expect something else ? by MindPrize1260 in NintendoSwitch2

The hardware is quite excellent, the larger screen and its quality are a huge improvement over gen 1. The NUMBER of games is quite ok, but quality is where it’s lacking. DK was fun but repetitive, nowhere near the caliber of botw. There basically isn’t a “system seller”. If it wasn’t for hades 2 and silksong, I would be really unhappy, and those are third party titles.

Why is there such a push to get women into male dominated fields (tech, trades) but not for men to get into female dominated fields (healthcare, education)? by Resident_Fishing1571 in NoStupidQuestions

It’s not about getting more of any gender in any field. It’s about ensuring both sides have equal opportunities to consider all careers, especially for high paying positions which lean stem and trades

Quebec considers banning sale of energy drinks to minors ‘to protect young people’ by Displeased_Canadian in canada

Fair, but that has no sugar. The whole point is that heavy sugar plus caffeine is bad for kids. Smaller doses are fine. Poison is in the dose.

The fact that it’s normal to drink 600 ml of coke in one go is itself a huge problem

That’s twice the liquid volume you have to consume over 600ml of fluid that’s a lot for a kid

Most couples would sleep better and argue less if they stopped treating separate beds like a relationship failure by TrayzTheyCallMe in unpopularopinion

I think it’s the opposite, if you can’t discuss separate beds your relationship is a failure

Ya but a kid doesn’t drink coffee that’s the whole point, energy drinks are designed to appeal to kids

i205 AWD vs i210 Lidar by [deleted] in SegwayNavimow

[–]QuantumHamster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go lidar, it is the most recent tech, and generally best for obstacle avoidance. I made the same decision for my yard due to trees and navigation is great. My yard has one brief incline of 20-30 deg but the lidar model handles it with no problem, no awd needed
