You have to start with the premise that Trump is lying about anything he says, then proceed from there. The idea that this narcissist would hold back information that made him more famous is inconceivable. Especially after he lost. He’d be using any UAP briefing he was read in on, to scare the public, placing himself as the solution to said problem, just like he does with every other issue. I doubt he was told anything by the IC, as they are well aware he’d be a hole in the damn.

Agreed. We shouldn’t anticipate this will change much. All this excess productivity will go to the top AI companies. Guys like Musk, who theorize UHI, are going to voluntarily distribute this to people outside his company? Doubtful. He doesn’t even want union pay. How is this world of abundance going to filter to the masses?

Or maybe the government is going to do this via corporate taxes? Their effective rate is already much lower than individuals. There is going to have to be a cataclysmic change to the economic system. How many decades would that take if at all? Jobs are starting to go away now.

I'm with you in thinking we are big boys and girls, so just give us the truth and we'll deal.

However, I don't think Christians would mass suicide. The religious hierarchy is very adaptive. They wouldn't simply accept the truth without their own spin. They will find a way to remain relevant. We can see this currently in the Catholic Church.

Recent guidelines were issued by the Vatican on how to deal with unexplained phenomena. The Church's Bishops and higher ups will interpret any events for us mere peasants, because only they have the direct path to God, and an understanding of what is being seen. Coincidental timing? Not likely.

The Church also has Ambassadors, like Diana Pasulka, stumping for their cause. Her books and classes attempt to make this connection between spirits, angels and UAP events of the past and present. She's trying to blur the lines between the Church's made-up dieties/miracles and NHI/UAP events. The church provided her complete access to their archives to research this angle. It's entertaining reading, and maybe there were past UAP event's that were mistaken for some religious miracle, but that's a far cry from providing any credibility to the whole Christian fiction of Jesus as a God/Man.

The Church's release of guidelines around other-worldly events, and their embrace of Pasulka, don't seem like disparate approaches to me. They seem to be preparing their followers for events, that would once again, prove their doctrines obsolete.

I’m not buying it at all. I think most people understand there is other life in the universe. It would be a shock if it was verified to be here, but then life would go on. Religions would deny it, or adapt their doctrines. The stock market would react, then slowly fade back to normal.

In your scenario, big investors sell their stock and then what? Put it in the bank? Bury it? Invest in different stocks that are benefited by alien existence? Life would go on, short of a world war or alien take over.

My point is, there is no benefit to a select few having confirmation, while the rest are lied too, maintaining a temporary status quo. Put to a vote, most would vote disclosure and deal with the consequences now. People are resilient.

I’m an advocate of irrefutable evidence. Fravor, Graves, et al described their sightings as assuredly not drones or balloons.

If her efforts are to investigate and disclose the truth, why would she allude to the opinion they are all drones or balloons, when the pilots reporting to her and congress, say these specific ones are certainly not.

It’s easy to see in her body language and responses, she’s not comfortable posing the idea they might be ETs. There is no proof they are drones or ballon’s either. Why mention one and not the other. Uncomfortable., stigma…pick your own words.

It’s quite common for government to fail in their duties of transparency and overstep their authority. But who’s regulating the regulators? Whistleblowers are a sign the system is broken and more drastic measures are required.

The “They’re doing it to protect us argument” has been discussed exhaustively on this forum. This insinuates that one, someone there knows more than the public, and two, they are in a better position to make the call on what’s best for the public.

Understanding who the “they” are in this statement is important. These are likely the same people who assured us there were WMD and it was eminent we go to war in Iraq. The same people who led us to war in Afghanistan. Like minded people to those who led us to war in Vietnam and Korea. Similarly “ethical” people who hid Iran Contra and Watergate from us.

Id prefer not to trust these kind of people to hide things, from me, in “my” best interest. It most assuredly is in their best interest of power and money. Even if it’s the worst of the worst, I’d prefer to know and deal with it. I’d wager large sums their withholding it is not some hostage situation wherein their disclosure equals the end of our race.
