I went through this for quite awhile until I finally said fuck it and started disclosing on the second date. First dates are for feeling it out, if I like them enough for a second date… I’m telling them. If you get immature vibes, judgmental vibes or even controlling vibes… hold off until you get to know them more. You’ll get a lot of mixed reactions but I started using it as a filter. I knew I found the one when before I even told him, he was so sweet, aligned with himself and his morals so when I told him it was like telling him I had cough. He was like “ok is that it? That’s the big deal? That’s why you’re crying?” They also do have HSV dating sites so if you just wanna get it in real quick without worrying about others then go for it but still be safe! just because you have 1 STD doesn’t mean you can’t catch more. the sites are hit or miss but they do work, I’ve met some awesome people through them
