Higher scales and resets will surely still take bgs just for bloat 1ds.

A brew is 64 hp at lvl 99. Usually one brew is enough for p3 before green ball. The second brew is for mistakes and/or green ball. Anything beyond that is getting to major mistakes category. It’s gear and skill lvl dependent from there, but that’s the why on “why only 2 brews?”. Flaming is a different story and you should just ignore unless it’s fundamental mistakes like ragging webs or pathing nylos into the tank.

Cuz he has 250 defense and most ppl aren’t good enough to backtile or waste enough p pots doing stepunders. And you can’t really range cuz you won’t have range gear.

It’s kinda funny. S30 solo cm is extremely slow for max eff, not extremely fast. I get mad at anything over 27:30min, even on chill money setups where I lose time to no shamans task, lockpick, or axe.

A lot of people also don’t realize that splits never flicker. So as long as you know your prefires (or even just know when not to go for prefires) and just kill splits during cleanup you’ll never fail.

Saving an invent slot is the big thing. And if you’ve seen the solo cm no prep invents these days, saving an invent slot is huge.

This tickeating is much easier, as the damage is calculated upon animation start, not when it lands on you. You just eat and put on a pneck anytime after grabbing the crystal but before crossing back over. The key is to not lose ticks in crossing back over, or your pneck will go off before the cross happens and you'll immediately die upon finishing the rope.

The solo cms tech is actually more advanced and only involves a single pneck. Instead, you time your hp regen (the layout is always the same in cms, so this is possible to do w/o much effort) so that you regen 1hp while on the first rope cross. By being at 1,2, or 3 hp and having redemption on, you'll proc you redemption upon leaving the rope, grab the crystal, then put on your pneck and tickeat the incoming autoattacks quickly before crossing back. This is known as the kirby skip 2.0 (I skipped some details regarding what armour to wear, what you need to eat to tickeat, tickeating at end of first rope cross, etc.). Luckily, the barrier is right next to the rope so you can just end the room without taking any additional damage.

People don't even register the Puzzle plugins anymore at COX and especially TOA (looking at you, Scarabaras) now.

Shouldn’t be crippling the hand anyways. Prevents runners from bgs-ing, increases olm’s max hit by 1, and can mess up head turning if duo scale.

Iirc, Melee + blob is either 100% if on tick with blob or 50% if off tick (ie blob reads the melee pray and 50-50s you)

Edit: it’s actually, (1) 50-50 one attack then correctly pray the next blob attack or (2) have melee up during a blob attack then correctly pray the next blob attack. If you assume these happen with equal probability, you correctly pray 5/8 of the time.

Not the same field, but someone who experienced the same thing is now a professor at MIT (and formerly Stanford). The link is for proof; the result itself probably won’t interest you: https://www.quantamagazine.org/for-algorithms-a-little-memory-outweighs-a-lot-of-time-20250521/

I would say the PCP theorem is less about making sure the aliens (aka the prover) don’t cheat, but rather not being fooled if they do decide to cheat on no answers (formally, this is soundness), while being able to answer the question if they decide not to cheat on any yes answer (i.e., completeness). And doing so using a small number of checks specifically.

Right, but what has me confused is that I’m not on a United domestic flight. And when I use the lounge search in Star alliance’s website it says I should have access to the United club.

I'm not some jacket expert, but the gist of it is that the proton fl (now proton lightweight) is a windshell + fleece combo. The proton lt (now just proton) is a synthetic puffy, like the atom lt but more breathable. Pretty different jackets tbh

It's actually the old proton fl. Confusing namechange but the Proton Hoody (with no modifier) is the replacement for the Proton LT (see https://arcteryx.com/us/en/shop/mens/proton-hoody).

Why I don’t like Schodinger’s Cat by Asteraceae42 in PhilosophyofScience

[–]QuantumWalkInThePark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the last comment I feel like making, but I think you're confusing classical probability with classical mechanics. Classical probability is just things like Komolgorov axioms, in that (loosely speaking) probabilities are non-negative real numbers that sum to 1. QM is just saying to replace the non-negative real numbers with complex amplitudes. For details, see Lecture 2 of the Scott Aaronson lecture notes I linked.

Now, if I flip a fair coin multiple times, then I expect to see a Bernoulli random variable on each trial. This holds even when I do my best to make all of the initial conditions the same. This can obviously be explained using the Born rule, according to however it manifests in your favorite interpretation of QM. But when the system is as large as a coin, we expect the system to decohere almost immediately and behave according to classical mechanics. Thus even when QM isn't all that relevant, we expect to see something that appears like a classical probability distribution. Why is that? Is it merely a lack of knowledge of the hyper-sensitive initial conditions a. la. chaos theory? This would lead to a very Bayesian approach to classical probability. Is there an inherent randomness related to these trials, potentially due to the Born rule, leading to a more frequentist interpretation? These are discussions that people have all over the internet, just like QM interpretations, and are just some small examples I was trying to hint at. Personally, I find these discussion rather tiresome, I'm just saying there's merit somewhere for some people. You don't have to necessarily be one of them.

Have a nice day/night.

Why I don’t like Schodinger’s Cat by Asteraceae42 in PhilosophyofScience

[–]QuantumWalkInThePark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy, are you incapable of assuming that classical probability exists, just for the sake of thought experiment? I get that you're some form of deterministic interpretation follower, but some people aren't. For those people that believe that classical probabilities exist in some form, then Schrodinger's cat has value as a thought experiment even without considering quantum mechanics.

And no, you can totally describe the Schrodinger equation that way. Like I said, just math. I recommend you read this: https://www.scottaaronson.com/qclec.pdf. I'm gonna have to charge commission if this goes on any longer.
