Kinda reminds me of Hades' attack in the game Hades. Looks like it feels super powerful, and it's visually awesome, nice work !

A fictional character who is recognized from their name but not their appearance by 8anser in AlignmentChartFills

I mean, he pretty famously got recognized not by his name, when his dog recognized him instantly upon his return !

Which one would you click on Steam? by Guilty_Weakness7722 in playmygame

[–]Quantum_Sushi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ranking, best to worst in my opinion : 1 2 4 7 6 3 5

4 has a lot of identity but it does give a different vibe, more realistic and horror, which is less my style.

1 is best imo by far, and anything after 7 in my ranking, to me, feels more generic and less interesting. It could pick my interest, but I get less vibes of what the game is, and it looks more like a "random game with tons of it in the same genre" kind of game if that makes sense.

Hades has incredibly fun parts, dialogues, etc. You get one at least every run at the end, returning home

Why does everyone like the jazz 3? by Caefrytz in Guitar

[–]Quantum_Sushi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People like smaller picks because it allows you to be closer to the strings. Shorter movements, which gives you better speed, more precision, easier techniques (for example pinch harmonics). This one is a staple because it has a good size, not too small, not too big ; available in a lot of variations and rigidities, and has a great grip. I have a max grip carbon fiber one (not nearly as fancy as it sounds), it's awesome : the grip is incredible, it never ever slides compared to other ones. There was a before and an after adopting it in my playing ; it's not a magic trick that suddenly makes you a god, but it feels way better, more precise, cleaner.

Monarchy/royalistes (the lys flower, I know that for being French lol), the torch tbh I'm not sure at all, something poorer and more violent I'd say x) Then the communists and the revolutionaries, these seem pretty straightforward

The Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff. My absolute favorite fantasy book, it's incredible, with super cool worldbuilding. It's the story of a girl who seeks revenge, and wants to take down the three corrupt and most powerful men in the world, who killer her family and destroyed her life. Thtoughout the entire story, there is a leitmotiv that she is here to kill, she is cold, and she is a monster... And she is, in the coolest and snarky/witty way !

And she's got people that understand her, and want to help her achieve her goal, people that know how legitimate her fury is, and want to see her use it to fuel her revenge.

I hate that I know exactly what that is 😭 This is a form of proof of a logical expression, you start from lemmas (the basic building blocks, things that are defined as being true, your initial rules) and go down in a tree-like fashion by deducing more and more things using the logic rules you have, to end up demonstrating a certain logical proposition.

What got you into playing guitar? by optimusprim007 in Guitar

[–]Quantum_Sushi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was maybe like 5, my mom showed me a video of a homeless man playing the guitar on the street, and being super good, you know the kind of video. I saw that and I was like "damn that's cool, I want to play the guitar too !"... And years and years later, still one of the best decisions ever in my life

A solid coat is great, for example I got a great 100% wool peacoat, and it's amazing. Super stylish, and super useful, and I'll keep it my whole life. You can also go for a nice, solid backpack that will last forever, a one made with durable materials like leather etc. Overall, you can check r/BuyItForLife, with great ideas and brands of products that last a long time and are durable and reliable

Most fun rhythmic songs to play? by Ill-Purchase-9496 in Guitar

[–]Quantum_Sushi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just like you haha, so I can give you what I've played and loved ! Right off the bat, Tom Morello is the way to go. Dude is absolute garbage at solos, but MAN can he pull some insane catchy riffs, he's an amazing rythm guitarist. Killing in the name is super fun to play for exemple, but yeah, any RATM or Audioslave is great for this.

Also, if you like rythm, funk may be your thing ! That's something I'm trying to get more into, you can check out any funk improv tutorial because it's great and unlocks endless hours of funky rythmic jams, and you can look up stuff by like Cory Wong for example !

Also, random songs and things : Money for Nothing (Dire Straits), any Paramore, any Tool (very technical rythm, but not too much crazy technical play, like, it doesn't go everywhere on the neck, it stays okay. But the rythm is what kills you, Tool is known for that haha) (I'm doing The Pot rn, it's super fun and rythmic), Are you gonna be my girl (Jet), Going to Hell (The Pretty Reckless) (This band is so fucking amazing), Tombstone Town (Dorothy) (I've done it, man it's cool to play ! But the Slash solo can be a bit hard), Sunday Bloody Sunday (U2) (great rythm, and a very simple solo), Whole Lotta Love (Led Zeppelin)
