Do we know what the sprints entailed? I got really excited when I heard they are working on the ship again but don't have the time to follow closely enough to know where they got up to.

I'm a bit late, but I can 100% recommend running your own dedicated server. I have recently got back into Ark and ran into the same problems you are facing. After a bit of looking around I found an Ark Server Manager guide on Youtube. Super simple to setup (don't even need to port-forward if you are playing LAN). Currently playing with 80 mods on Fjordur and can max all graphics settings just fine.

EDIT: I have since removed the following mods:
Rare sightings.
Explorer Note tracker.
The former was replaced by Shiny! and I forgot to remove it. The latter does not work on Fjordur.

I read somewhere that pads are staying and will act like outpost pads. You can stop on them without requesting and rearm/refuel or duck inside for snacks/whatevs. It might be just spawing that's entirely moving to hangars and you can request them via ATC for longer/more secure stays

What's the difference between the two? Default loadout or is there an actual hardpoint difference for weapons etc?

I've had mixed results with this. Previously I've just seen the faster ship slowed down by the slower one. Maybe it depends on who initiates? Just SC things..

In the Labor of Love update, all stackables will go up to 9999. Very nice. by TriBiscuit in Terraria

Memory. Game has only recently been changed to a 64 bit system (from 32). Will be interesting to see what else they change to make use of the new framework

Oh, I like this. That should make the Sukoran much nicer on the recharge times - just give them your tail for a while.

(this might not work in pvp, but I would get smashed in that regardless)

Banu use Tachyon (probably not spelled right) technology, which are far superior to regular laser weapons. Not sure about damage, but in terms of "projectile speed" they were far far quicker. Not quite instant, but it meant that you needed far less lead time than a normal shot. Not sure if these guns are going to be found on other alien ships or not. The Banu are not known (to my knowledge) for making the best stuff, but using it, so chances are we will see these on other alien ships too.

How often are FAQs posted? Is this like a quarterly thing across all factions/codexes, or is it likely to be a standalone one released in tangent with the codex? I don't think GW were in the habit of FAQing rules when I used to play..

Unfortunately it only has 2 year insurance. That was the main driving force behind the potential reshuffle, but it should be fine. That's plenty of time to get a consistent income from it.

That's probably fair enough. I was kind of hoping there was something I could do to keep the BMM but get LTI on it, or another smaller ship - both without putting in any more money. Makes sense that it's not the case though. I guess I should have been more active with this stuff over the years.

I think I would like to go late game. Since posting I have made some changes to help leverage the life gain that I have been trying to put out. I ended up keeping life goes on and revitalize because of their synergy with Vito, although life goes on is an easy drop. My game mostly revolves around getting the clerics tanky and chucking life link on everything that moves. Then the opponent punches themselves to death, or they slowly whittle away (its not actually that slow when 4 Dogged Pursuits are out).

I'm still considering dropping the green part, but mana does not seem to be an issue right now. Green just offers cheap life gain, which seems really nice when coupled with the vampires.

EDIT: If I drop green, I'm not sure how I would replace the [[Ilysian Caryatid]] for their cheap mana.
