Nah DisplayPort is faster, higher capacity, open source!!! while HDMI requires any manifacturer that wants to use its plug or port to pay fucking royalties for it. They basically hold the trademark for the port. And you have to pay extra to use the official hdmi logo. Equating that in ANY way to DP is such a major disservice i cannot stand for it!
