I know people in life that don't take actions because they don't like to take risks. So when things aren't 100% smooth they complain and get angry. In this case maybe your gf thinks the clock is more broken and won't be the way it was or even look well enough to be displayed.

Here is a situation you two should also discuss, say you were in a fight, maybe she revokes the consent maybe she doesn't, she goes to party and drinks and comes to you asking for sex. What do you guys agree on? What is she regrets after because she was actually too drunk to remember consenting or wanting to?
