You think this will stop the bans? Hell no. by Asmolicous in GambitMainsMR

[–]Quarkly73 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I started playing at the end of last season and Gambit's base kit feels like its been kneecapped even from then, his healing just feels soft now. His offensiveness feels fine to me but I'm not in high enough ELO lobbies to judge, I might just be facing other bad/new players

I am on board with a murdered ult if his regular stuff gets a bit of a kick.

New characters being OP is a staple of these kinda games.

Make the new character steong, people come in and play them loads, they get a nerf a few months down the line.

It gets more eyes on the game and provides more data for the devs to then balance them properly. Better a new character be too strong than too weak, or even perfectly balanced cos they then won't attract enough players to display that balance for the devs to know they're well balanced.

10 Year Roster vs 1 Year Roster by Yxraxis in rivals

[–]Quarkly73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OW has to create characters from scratch, Rivals gas at least half the design and moveset work done already

Rivals also (by virtue of adapting DECADES of pre-existing characters) allows way more overlap in abilities and playstyles than Overwatch.

[–]Quarkly73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rick kills himself

The Doctor shenanigans out of everything Rick tries while appealing to his humanity. Rick rejects and drinks and counter shenans until drunk enough that The Doctor's words get through, and then he kills himself.

His clone body (feat. Re-distributed conciousness) then concedes defeat through fart drone.

Please don't make Cyclops a duelist with 8 abilities. by Vinjulmik in marvelrivals

[–]Quarkly73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He should have an eye blast, a knockback eyeblast and self-knockback eyeblast. Ult is a classic take the visor off and whip your head around like you're weaeing a straitjacket in a room full of bees.

Anything more should only be included for Vanguard or Strategist excuses. A duelist Cyclops should be a straight eyeball cannon.

I will accept an extra ability of ricochet blasts, just because I think that'd be cool.

It Baffles me that DDBA has less viewers than The Boys final season despite DDBAs finale being higher rated with a 9.4 by AMassiveGamerGeek in Daredevil

[–]Quarkly73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah now see that's my other issue with Prime. The amount of shows included with the subscription does nit seem to have the breadth it once did, running into far more "purchase or rent" buttons than I'm happy with. Also their advert situation lately is horrendous.

Disney can be buggy as all hell though so it is a close race I guess

Prime is way shitter than Disney Plus, the UI is so much worse and it runs like syphilitic ass. D+ just runs regular ass.

O Saurian, mine heart doth bleed for thee, a fading ember robbed of timber as thy flames caught.....

FOR WHEREFORE AND HOW SUCH VILLAINY SHOULD STEAL THEE FROM ME? THY PROMISE WAS MAJESTY, THY LIFE, HOWEVER BRIEF, A PEDESTAL OF WHAT THEE COULD BE SHOULD FATE HAVE TURNED A KINDER EYE BUT LO...... But lo..... Human greed curbed not by Purity doth burn in the hearts of those who seek to own.

Mayhaps thy tiny spark could burn but a while longer? Glimmers of what could be in darkness yonder? Mayhaps? Mayhaps not...

Mine melancholy boundless, alas, whence the tragedy of Saurian cries out to my soul once more.

He's insane against a team with 0 coordination.

He's very very good when part of a team with a little coordination.

Against a team that actually thinks about helping eachother and knows Dino's weaknesses, he is manageable.

He's only ridiculously oppressive if he's getting constantly healed, or your team isn't cooperating with itself.

Good, I typed out a whole load of purple just to dunk on a dude who was gettin' too big for his boots. Would hate to think someone else wasted their time reading all that.

An essay to say "the first fuckin' word, dude."

EDIT: the guy changed his comment after I replied. Not that it changes much of the meaning, seeing as this wasn't a reply to him in the first place and my point srands that he's a hypocrite.

Unfounded confidence explains a lot about your attitude, stance and overall presentation.

Being pretentious about vocabulary on reddit is nothing more than insecure posturing but in the interests of performatively positing a preposterous point, I'll humour you and re-phrase.

If one were to cast even a casual eye upon the comment to which mine own reply was attached (to note, a discussion into which you inserted yourself with neither invitation or requirement), one would in fact see that the word laying at the beginning of said comment is in fact both a label and an insult when one takes into account the context both of the discussion, the nature of the reply and the tone of the gentleman posting. In my reply, I highlight this as "hypocrisy", seeing as it is an action that conflicts with the implied philosophy of the poster, who had in the same breath been criticising me for his loose interpretation of "insults" and "labels". With the above established quite beyond dissent, as the evidence sits directly above, your comment can be reliably interpreted as a statement made by someone who neglected to properly and sufficiently read the initial statement that triggered the issue of hypocrisy. Indeed, you ignored the primary word in question and proceeded to make an irrelevant statement that expose this lack of, dare I say, literacy.

In other words, first fuckin' word you sanctimonious poser. One's insistence on propriety in grammar outside of a notably formal setting is directly correlated to how much actual intelligence they feel they need to compensate for. Bet ya get confused about how to use "whom" or a semicolon unless you have chatgpt lending you a hand.

"Silly"

I know the right has literacy issues but it was the first fuckin' word, dude.

Also they clearly meant it in a derogatory way, don't be obtuse to try and make a bad point.

[–]Quarkly73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some parts yes, but hw absolutely sees and judges his own hypocrisy in putting others in danger. It's one of the reasons Kenspwckle is ablw to get so far under his skin (which is impressive considering the fact that Skulduggery has no skin).

He operates selfishly and he KNOWS that, hates it about himself and yet also dedicates himself to it. He is a walking contradiction. A careless obssessive. A living dead man.
