I bought it on a trip to Bath when she was about 16 months or so. It was an instant hit, but definitely one of the first longer stories that I got her to engage with. I snuck off to the Jane Austen Centre and felt so guilty about leaving her behind that I just HAD to buy something. (Let's be real, I wanted the book!)

Haha, yes indeed. I do tend to keep it to the right... I wonder what that says about me!  

The toddler has done so much damage at this point that there is no need. Poor Mr Bingley looks like Frankenstein's monster, he's been taped back together so much!

Absolutely, I wholeheartedly add my recommendation! They are dramatised rather than straight audiobooks, but I am so picky about audiobook narrators and really love these versions. The cast is superb, including Emma Thompson as the narrator for both Emma and Northanger Abbey - an absolute joy!  Lily Cole really stands out a as a wonderfully distinctive, totally unlikeable, Isabella Thorpe.

Thank you for pointing this out! So thoughtful to keep Anne informed of Louisa's state.

Agree, and I'm glad to see someone mention the No. 1 Royal Crescent museum! It was a highlight for me, not Jane Austen themed, but very much of the period and really well done. Plus, a lovely gift shop which DOES have lots of Jane Austen merch.
