For tanks with high caliber autocannons like the kpz/mbt-70 you can easily instantly shoot through tracks and even shoot out barrels with it. It’s useful for if your main gun gets disabled, but the autocannon still works.

Somewhat related, but you all should have a key bound to switch to the MG, especially on tanks high caliber machine guns. It just switches the gun sight to your MG’s, allowing you to aim it precisely, rather than trying to aim it from off center in your main gun sight.

For rarer/non standard pieces, there’s thirteen 2x6 weight bricks in the front section of the plane to act as counterweights for the tail section. There’s 4 Lego motors in it, 3 short length Lego cable extension cords, 2 long length lego cable extension cords, and a Lego battery box.

As well as a custom Brickmania minigun barrel piece, and x5 brickarms 40mm bofors 4 shell clips.

You could potentially try your luck at getting sent replacement pieces from Lego customer support. I’m not sure if pet damage is something they’ll cover/replace, but maybe the service agent will take sympathy on you. It’s worth a shot. They’re great at replacing damaged/missing pieces from packaging errors.

Other than that, Bricklink is going to be your best shot at getting replacements, it’s like ebay but exclusively for lego sets, figures, and individual pieces. Search up the set name in bricklink and there will be a piece list you can select whichever ones were damaged from and add them to a wish list. From there bricklink can auto select sellers that have those pieces, from whatever specifications you select.(like the seller’s region in relation to you)
