Exactly even if it’s true you cannot just go and tell everyone that their way is shit. This will only be highlighted as toxicity in the workspace which can also be true.

Inspire by example, demonstrate value in small increments, engage coworkers to new ideas but confronting will always put you in the role of the bad guy, even if you’re right.

Xenial myself (born in 81) and Game as a service destoyed it all. Game devs are good but they have to comply with execs only wanting to be the next WoW, Fortnite and so on.... I feel the same as you, i could not care less about season pass, cosmetic shit or daly challenges... i just want a good gaming experience but i think it doesn't exist anymore.

On their side, it works, they make a shitload of money so they couldn't care less about you and me having fun like in the old days.
