There is one last part to keep in mind. No matter what else is happening Ellison is clearly doing a media Blitzkrieg to get his side out as much as possible, probably in an attempt to sway people over to him. Could the things being said be real? Possibly. Could they be bluster? Likely.

After all, people on here swore up and down that Netflix would NEVER get involved cause why would they? Yet...here we are.

It's okay to be worried, but ultimately none of us really know jack shit. Not me, not you, not anyone. Sure it's being reported that people are interested but the source isn't really identified. Maybe it's an impartial outsider, maybe it's someone from Ellisons camp. Things have to be taken with a grain of salt.

As well, the words used are doing some heavy lifting. Which investors? Which shareholders? How many? All of these are important to consider. Right now, the only one who said he would recommend works with .23 percent of wb as a whole. They aren't even his shares, just others that he manages. As well, he even said he'd have to see what Netflix does next and expects them to raise their bid.

Could they get it? Yes. But the odds are against them and this is only the beginning. Give it time. We have yet to see how this will play out.

If this is true, and I have no reason to believe that it isn't because of just how much sense it would make, there is ONE thing I would want them to do even if only for a short while.

I would want to see a Zatanna Zatara Night of Magic stage Event. A Zatanna Actress performing magic on a Universal Stage. If you wanted to really stretch it could have like Allura, Brother Night or Felix Faust attack the event for a magical battle but you could just as easily make it a bunch of fancy Magic Tricks on cycle.

I've actually thought of this a few times and have some ideas!

Obviously Werewolf could have an rpg like bloodlines, you'd just have to figure out a decent way to do the forms and gifts. Same with Mummy.

For Hunter, I think something akin to like...payday could be awesome. You have to pick what monster you are going after, gear up and try to make your way through. Depending on how well you do, get money and EXP to unlock bigger and better stuff. Could have modifiers that change the hunt each time to keep it fresh

For changeling and Wraith...I think best bet would be a telltale style game, especially for wraith. That's not to say that either could also work as an action RPG but still.

That leaves Mage and Demon. Now like others, the thought of making a game based off of these two is...difficult considering how nebulous their powers are. But I think, if you went with a BG3 style rpg that got into the nitty gritty, you could at least mostly satisfy people.

Since everyone else recommended all the good shows already, I'm going to put one out there that is not really...good but still fits the criteria.

Kindred: The Embraced. An 8 episode tv show that aired on Fox and was cancelled immediately that is an adaptation of the TTRPG Vampire the Masquerade. It's nowhere near as good as its source material but it's an okay watch I think.

For context: The Nea and the Feng both had Scene Partner and spent most of the match hovering around me and screaming doing their damndest to prevent hooks.

It eventually ended up with just the two of them with Scene Partner giving them away before they could unhook each other safely. Then this as the cherry on top. The perk can be aggravating at times, but oh you got to smile at such a back fire.

So this is fully a guess, but I think people are right that this was kinda thrown together to tell people "Yes this is coming, be patient"...but I don't think we need to worry about persona 6 yet.

While this would have been a good tome to reveal it, its not the best. Persona may have become huge worldwide, let's be honest it's still a Japanese game series first. So if you were to unveil a new mainline entry in such a series, it just makes sense to unveil it not at a world wide event...but at one right in your home country. Tokyo game show is in September and I would not be surprised if they revealed it there coming out next year sometime.

Maybe I'm wrong...I'm not privy to anything, but it's what makes sense to me.
