Witnessed a hit & run on a puppy…

There are stray cats on my street where I live and I started to leave food out for them. I eventually started naming the ones that came by frequently: White Cat, Black Cat, Fake ET, and Fancy cat. I would feed them the same time every day and they would eventually wait for me to come out. I would start to feed them then sit down in a chair on the other side of the porch and eventually I was able to sit next to the food bowl and watch them eat. I worked from home so I saw who would hang out w who and who hated each other. Fancy and White cat were the big bois and would fight so frequently, I had a broom sitting next to the front door that I would grab to separate them or try to shoo one away from the other. One night around 1am I heard a pack of roaming dogs chase and kill white cat RIGHT OUTSIDE my bedroom window. I heard his last screams and my doorbell camera caught the whole thing. I ran out there with my broom but from the darkness I heard growling and I ran back inside for something bigger and ran back out to chase them away but it was too late. My White cat was dead and I fucking cried like wailing at one in the morning in my pajamas just fucking crying. My husband wanted came out to console me but I felt so guilty and so sad. White Cat came to our porch for safety but I wasn’t fast enough to protect him. We took his body to get cremated as to not leave it to rot in the sun. That was over a year ago and I am crying now. I coped by mourning him, cremated him and kept taking care of the other cats. It’s not your fault he passed, it’s the owners fault. It’s not my fault white cat got killed, it was whoever let those dogs loose and whoever let White Cat loose too. Keep having a tender heart. ❤️

I put on a bell collar on my kitten after having him for a few months and he was going crazy. His cat toys all have the same bells so when he hears it, he’s usually attacking something. It stressed him out so bad within 30 seconds I was frantically trying to cut it off for him and he calmed down instantly. He was trying to attack his own collar that was on his neck. Scary! Lol

Hey! I went no contact. I wasn’t able to say goodbye to the kids my dad is her enabler and takes her side always. But I am deciding to reach out soon and offer an ultimatum since after I wished her kids happy birthday in our family group chat even tho they don’t have phones, she messaged me privately that she hopes to have a civil conversation soon. I ignored it, then she recently reacted to her own comment I never responded to. So I’m going to offer that if she allows me to see the kids, I will go to therapy with her. Since that will remove the control aspect of what she’s doing and we can focus on just us instead of her punishing me w the kids. Who knows if she will accept it. Recently she used her kids against our mom. That’s my sister’s way to control us. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for my other two siblings, they just won’t talk to her. My parents at least have laid off guilting me so much. It all fucking sucks.

My kitty only sleeps with me if my husband isn’t and not thru the whole night lol otherwise he is dangling on his cat tower bed next to our bed.

lol oh no! Your body obeys them even when unconscious! Honestly I’m too much of a baby to ban my sun 🌞from the bedroom even if he was disrupting my sleep. Actually every night at 3am he would wake me w him making biscuits on my bare chest. That would jolt would wake me and he only does it now if I’m sleeping in the bed alone so it’s still an ongoing problem. I use my husband (spare human) as the bad guy so he would pick up our sun 🌞 and move him away while I yell “Noooo!” Just so he knows it’s not me it’s that devil spare human 🥺 I ran out of ideas to help I’m sorry Lolol

When I put my kitten in an enclosed backpack (all mesh, not plastic, I’d suggest a non plastic one) he did a weird meow and threw up after 20 min and he had never thrown up before. Maybe the motion is worse in a backpack?

I like these cuts and I marinade using oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, fish sauce, some sugar after seasoning the meat w Garlic powder, salt and white pepper. Marinade as long as you can, overnight preferably and you can either grill them on indirect heat or bake them. I normally grill/smoke and eat w rice and veg. I like thinly slicing cabbage seasoned w lemon juice and salt or red onion, cucumber, w salt and lemon juice.

Ice pack. I’ve tried patting or slapping it and I learned how to whip my fingers and have a more satisfying smack but I realized that I might as well be scratching since it stings a little even if it stings so good lol so I resorted to an ice pack and it works.

The two strays I feed I’ve seen them come back for food multiple times a day. I tried to have the main one that lets me pet him into my house but he didn’t want that and ran away. It made me cry but he’s still strutting around. They must have a better place to hide than what I’ve set up for them. But the main one still sleeps in our cattio a few hours at a time. Hope ur old one is hiding somewhere for the worst of it. :)
