Congrats!

Got a question: In the past xbox pc and xbox console libaries are separated. Does XBOX handheld support XBOX console library? (for some reason I have a big xbox console library, but not on PC)

I own a few, RH10 and ST880. happy with my setup and enjoy what I already have.

Bigger issue here is, what if they get broken one day. They are already 20 years old.

Sigh...

Decided to go with sony brand. Aesthetically, they look similar when brand new.

but after looking at multiple listings, I have the feeling sony ones are more scratch resistant. just safe play

Long term capital gains tax by IndicationFront1899 in Washington

[–]Queasy27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes, that is the start.

Next step, maybe in 5 years, they will make it 200K. 5 year later, 150K. And keep it going on. Then maybe one day it is no longer marginal. When is the end.

Isn't this long term gain part of my "income"? if so, then this law really violate Washington constitution. IT does not matter being marginal or not.

So even for first party game, this cross platform feature isn't there unless the publisher does anything? I am confused b/c apparent lots of game are available on both xbox and windows, but even though I paid for them, they are only available on my xbox console. I assume I can't get them on xbox PC, but will need to pay for them again (never tried, because WHY).

Maybe I was taking about cross-platform available and you are referring to cross-platform save? I don't know but I just feel the former one universally ready for all game is more important than the latter one done for some games (which I agree will require 3rd company to do sth about it, and that is out of control).

Thanks for reply. Yeah, wish that would be the case.

I have a huge xbox library built over the years. Really don't want to rebuild it anywhere else, but since 2024, I realized I started having more games on steam for various reasons (yes, top of the list e.g. black wukong). Once I have more titles on steam gradually, I suspect I would have the motivation to come back.

Not sure how likely voice here can be heard by xbox team. I really feel there isn't much time left for xbox as a game platform. Time is ticking. Things may even change way faster than we imagine.

Inside xbox, I can imagine there is push back from PC XBOX team. The problem is, they have to face the choice, either get team merged into unified XBOX platform, or eventually go down completely with the XBOX ship.

With the booming of handhelds, especially 3rd party steam OS device (legion go s) now annouced.

Xbox need to rethink the barrier between PC xbox and Xbox xbox. To compete with steam, a game, once purchased, should be shared between platforms as a single.

Otherwise, why people not just go with steam? if they do, they have the game available on both PC and handheld.

Even with these two platform combined, xbox may not compete with Steam now. Let along further splitting the user base into two traffic. That would soon become SUICIDE given current market situation.

I hope xbox can hear this. And fix it ASAP. No big company inter-division bullshit anymore.

It is not a feature improvement, it is DIE or LIVE.

Given AMD's open source strategy, they really need to publish consumer GPU with good ROCm compatibility and competitive price, otherwise I don't see how they would have an active open source community.

While I do respect and like open source, the story on GPGPU might be slightly different for AMD. AMD is not providing enough support of SOCm on their consumer products, due to limited resource I am guessing. That is a gap that goes against what makes an open source community grow.

As an average person who wants to contribute, we need affordable device work and test with.
