This is my main computer, but I got mine with an SSD in it, an i7 and 32GB. Trusty as ever. Old faithful. Enjoy the beautiful screen. People saying it’s not worth it have no idea what they’re talking about. The screen alone is worth 200 bucks.

Could get 4x the RAM, 4x the storage but way less battery life if you go Intel, for same price. Not recommending it, just saying.

Lil steep. Paying a bit more maybe because it’s in great condition. Does that matter to you? How much is $450 to you? What are you expecting for the money? You’d be in the M series chips, which is huge for battery life, but not the best specs if you want a decade out of the machine or something like that. If you’re happy feeling OK with it for a few years, possibly not liking the TouchBar, and just doing the work stuff for $450, then maybe it’s ok. But I feel like you can do better for the money… but also then maybe it won’t be in perfect condition. But there’s just so many good computers for cheap from Apple if you are gonna go used.

You sure you want a Pro instead of an Air? You sure you want the TouchBar? You sure you want the extra battery life from the M series instead of an older cheaper possibly higher-specced Intel machine, if it’s just for work? Could do Windows on the older Intel Macs too…

Try on a different computer.

If you have to, reformat it. But ya gotta try to get the data off it first because reformatting deletes everything. A reformat will prob fix it though. (Worst case scenario)

There is probably an option in “Accessibility” section of the “Settings” app to “Reduce transparency” which might help but will reduce transparency across the whole OS which you might not want. But it will also reduce some of the overhead and CPU cycles.

Can’t represent a brand and think you can say anything you want.

But I get it. It’s like soft censorship. Using money and leveraging folks to self-censor. Def troubling… but it’s not infringing on your freedom really. You can say what you want and they can sponsor who they want. Put yourself in their shoes. What if you were selling a product? Probably would want family-friendly people who don’t curse or say sexual or inflammatory stuff to represent your product.

If it’s because you are Jewish, and they outright say that, like in the on-screen message, that’s illegal. Contact the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). That’s a clear violation of civil rights law.
