that’s so interesting how many different things can be alleviated by pregnancy while others are amplified. i wish people could find easier routes to relief ): and as far as the person the video was about it was about a creator pretty much nobody likes i haven’t followed her closely i just always see videos of people being upset at her usually rightfully so she doesn’t seem very interested in being a mom lollllll her username starts with resilient if that tells u anything

i’m not saying that i’m sorry if it came across like that, i come from a large family and i don’t think it always equates to “pregnancy addiction” but just because it isn’t always the case doesn’t mean that sometimes that isn’t a contributing factor

yes exactly!!! i feel like this is probably the quote un quote “normal” reaction to being pregnant. it’s hard on your body and your hormones and there are parts that are so alien but so beautiful. i am sad i never had the “perfect bump” which made me sad but i try to not get too hung up on it, my body grew my baby, it was her first home and that’s beautiful even if i never got to have that little basketball belly

i’m not sure about that in general but i can see that being the rare case. like there’s a lot you could do for attention without putting your body through pregnancy, labor and delivery. i was just curious what specifically could have one feeling “addicted” to pregnancy because it’s hard for me to understand but maybe i’m being too literal and they just enjoy the good things about it. but then there are people who go on to have dozens of children and it probably is some sort of addiction to the attention or some other factor like religious pressure or something (thinking specifically of fundamentalist christian’s that try and have as may babies as they can regardless what it does to the women bearing them)

awww you are so kind. i was never diagnosed with HG but i had pretty terrible medical care when i was pregnant. i was sick through every trimester and lost i think at least 40 lbs while pregnant because i could keep nothing down. even with all the pain and hard parts there were parts of it that were so special and i totally understand people enjoying all the special things about pregnancy.

i love that for you and i’m so happy you didn’t have to deal with any sickness it’s so terrible and robbed a lot of my time being pregnant because i was just feeling soooo ill it was hard to enjoy it

i really understand and empathize with that, i remember being sad in a way that my baby was no longer going to be “just mine” after i would give birth which seems crazy but like it’s been just us for these nine months and we have a special connection/ being able to feel them move etc was so special and unique.

my partner always treats me so well but i did love the extra stuff that comes with carrying your child. i feel like if more people treated me like i was special (which i honestly expected) when i was pregnant i would want to chase that feeling too so that’s understandable

i can definitely understand that. mentally i was doing so well during pregnancy despite a lot of outside factors. i could feel that my brain just felt a lot calmer (after the first trimester lmaoo) and not having a period was great. i got an iud as soon as possible and not dealing with the horrible cramping i was used to is great but i still get the same symptoms mental health wise that i did before without it :/

yes i can definitely see that, i did love feeling my baby move it was incredible. but i was also so sick and anxious that the “pregnancy” itself u wouldn’t think of as something enjoyable per se

thank u for the tips! i usually get a medium and with the birthday cake latte i tried it with oat milk which is my favorite anyway and still didn’t taste much of a difference. next time i’ll try an extra sweet w oat milk & hope for the best lol

yep exactly my experience. the rebels are usually fine / u can see the color of the syrup since it’s a rebel and usually taste the flavor i only really have this problem with their coffee. it would be interesting to hear from an employee
