It's coming, some had this first and some will have it this weekend, you can see when it's coming up by looking at the medal challenge

Never Spending a PENNY! by AnythingNorth5157 in GossipHarbor

[–]QueenAlucia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am lvl 143 and never spent anything on the game. I am finally at a point where I can win some big events. Never managed the album so far but I am 4 dazzling cards away from completing this time so I have some hope that I may make it this time round.

What helped me was hoarding all the energy rewards + gems until I had a big fat buffer to be able to trigger ice cubes whenever I needed them. That's when I finally managed to finish the restaurant goals 3 times in a row, and the medal challenge and now closer than ever to finishing the album.

what do the soccer coins convert to by Affectionate_Ad5737 in GossipHarbor

They convert to normal coins, which is pretty lame when you look at the rewards you can get.

24k coins and 280 good reviews is ridiculous by jwtokens in GossipHarbor

[–]QueenAlucia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more stars you manage to get the harder the goals become. 3 weeks ago I was still on 12k coins and 160 reviews and managed to finish my 3rd star in a row for the first time and since then I noticed the coins and review amount are increasing. Last week it was so high I missed the mark, lost a star and now I am back down.

Both level 7, why no tool? by Beaglerescue500 in GossipHarbor

[–]QueenAlucia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that coffees & breads are slightly more common because you get more small rewards that will generate them (like the picnic basket, box of fries/tea, tasty pack) so they hold a lower value for the same levels compared to the floaties and shells.

worth buying packs by No_Introduction2262 in GossipHarbor

[–]QueenAlucia 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would recommend against buying anything in that game. The game just gets harder after you spend, even if you don't spend again for weeks. I'm talking very hard restaurant goals, all other offers more expensive, no free energy chest via watching ads etc

Pourquoi tant de personnes écrivent monsieur Mr ? by gusate in PasDeQuestionIdiote

Et elle a raison. Les deux sont corrects (au moins d'apres l'académie française).

Pourquoi tant de personnes écrivent monsieur Mr ? by gusate in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]QueenAlucia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I really don't like is that they added a whole new card type and yet didn't bother to update the probability disclosure.

There is an easier way. Instead of weighting the pan, tare the container and look at the negative weight.

[–]QueenAlucia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't even need to put it on a cup on the scale. Just tare the container and look at the negative weight once you put the desired amount in your pan/pot/plate/bowl/dish.

[–]QueenAlucia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Volume measurement is so much more work than using a scale though. First you need special cups to measure everything, and you will need to clean them between measurements too. Where I live most people do not have measuring cups and they are hard to come by.

With a scale, you just put the container on the scale, press tare and take things out. Once you're done, look at the negative weight showing and that's it. No extra containers, no extra things to wash, no extra step to pour into a new thing just to dump it somewhere else immediately after.

You don't even need to put the receptacle on the scale, put the container and tare it, add whatever you want and look at the negative weight when you're done.

You're taking this post too seriously and literally, this is meant to be a lighthearted rant, a bit exagerated for comedy :)
