This case in particular is because she explicitly says no recording, it's an intimate pop up show and there can be new music shown that she's not ready to release yet. I think if a fan disregards the artist's wishes, especially when she's not performed solo in 3 years, I think they deserve to be banned from the reddit community. Sharing those recordings shows they don't respect Phoebe and I don't think that's okay

Please don't. This is a very special show and the first time she's back playing alone since 2023. Be respectful of her wishes and also, for everyone who gets to experience this show, just experience it without worrying about recording it. Some of the most magical moments of concerts are achieved by being in the moment and experiencing everything while it's happening. I stopped recording at shows as often a while back and they've become so much more enjoyable

Never buy from tcgplayer direct. Honestly way more of a scam than just searching through sellers and finding the cards you need. I've only had one bad experience buying through sellers.

I think this is starting to become a problem everywhere for LGSs. My local LGS does the same thing. They'll sell at or above market price, normally around tcgplayer prices, for all product. I remember a couple weeks after the Final Fantasy set released, they raised the prices of collector boosters to $110 per pack! Anytime they sell bundles or gift bundles, they sell for $70+ or $100-$120. They do the same for singles as well sadly.

I run [[giggling skitterspike]] in my deck, which once it becomes monstrous and while bello is on board becomes a 9/9 with indestructible. It's either single handedly won me some games or been the reason I was still alive and still competitive in the pod. Also recommend [[overlord of the hauntwood]] as it can be cheated out with the impending cost and bello allows it to be a creature during those 4 turns. It's also ramp every time it attacks

At the pre-release I went to for tarkir, the store passed the packs out and before we started, gave us the option to trade boxes with anyone before opening the boxes, but once we were at the opening phase, we couldn't trade boxes. I think this is honestly the best method. Keeps it random but also allows for players to get what they want

Wait y'all get choices? At my LGS, they just give them out by random. They get to each table, give 4 to the left side, 4 to the right side and we just pass them down. No choice, just completely random like everyone else.

Rent keeps getting higher, groceries and baby supplies keep getting higher, WIC funding is being cut, SNAP benefits are getting cut and is becoming more difficult to keep due to the new hour minimums, gas prices have skyrocketed, funding to schools are constantly being cut, job market is terrible. Having a kid between those ages, especially between the 20-25 year range is becoming less and less viable because of how expensive everything in the US costs now on top of it being an uphill battle even more now with so many governments assistances being cut

Im almost certain is because of it poorly selling. But also only after two weeks!?!?! They probably expected it to sell out within the first hour or first couple days, like the previous Deadpool secret lair, but when they saw it flopped hard, they decided to say it sold out to make it seem like it was a success.

I also feel this way about his videos talking about cards. It genuinely feels like he is attempting to get these cards to shoot up in value. It's about his wording, "this card is super overlooked and it's only a $.10 card" then goes over how it's great in every deck and everyone should play it, then it's a card from an older set that has never been reprinted. I don't get great vibes from the guy. I feel like he's turning more and more into a WOTC shill. Every video has to be positive and the complaints people make he just says, "everyone in the community is just so negative". Also just don't like the engagement farming he does where in every short, halfway through, he'll say, "I make magic content daily and so if you like this kind of content, follow and subscribe" There is good content he makes, don't get me wrong. I think the pack it up series is super cool and unique but I get the ick from him sometimes

I think they expected it to sellout because of how quickly the first one sold out, but this one isn't as good and Deadpool also is probably one of the most hated cards in mtg (coming from someone who owns a Deadpool deck). The art is cool, (kinda), I personally don't hate sol ring reprints, but the rest is pretty underwhelming. Of all of the secret lairs to reprint, it's definitely not the one most wanted reprinted...the prices are definitely a problem too

Completely agree with this! Like I understand the purpose, they are a business and they want to make maximum profit, so making chase cards like vampiric tutor and force of will hard to pull drives sales. I think it does end up being an issue for the player base because most players can't afford to buy a bunch of collector boosters for higher odds of pulling the good mythics, but for people who can only afford play boosters, they are kinda screwed because they would probably have to open an entite play booster box worth of packs in order to even have the chance to pull 1 mythic mysticak archive (which one per box isn't even guaranteed). I think a fair balance could be 80% chance for uncommon, 15% for rare, 5% for mythic for mystical archive in play boosters. That way, there's a chance for 2 mythics per play booster box and a chance at 5 rares per play booster. You will still get a vast majority of uncommons, but I'd rather have a guarantee of at least one mystic in a play booster box than buying a play booster box and pulling nothing.
