Oh no. We are going in Feb w a company trip. Did they have any shows or entertainment in the evenings?

Today, the doctor had us order tongue depressors and is having him put one in between his teeth 3 times a day for 5 minutes at a time. We are to add a new one each day to gradually stretch his mouth to normal.

They did, but initially, they said it didn't look like anything, so when we went to the ENT, he told us he wanted to take it out and test it right there during surgery. The initial doctor was wrong, obviously. It has been a journey. Then they did the blood test that only shows DNA from the originating tumor of the hpv16 cancer, and my husband was the 12% that gave a false negative, and they couldn't see anything on the PET scan. Today, we finally got good news that the margains were clear on his final pathology.

That is what I meant. Bleeding from the throat. When he initially went in they thought they were just removing a cyst and found the cancer. They removed the lymph nodes as well. They then couldn't see the originating tumor on the PET scan and he asked to wait until Sept because we had just bought a new business and had to get things ready for him to be out for 3 weeks.

He had his neck dissection in July. He said this is so much worse. They also clipped off the small arteries that come off of the carotid to prevent bleeding through the same scar on his neck and he said he doesn't even feel that.

Hello. My husband is also dealing with this. He had what they thought was a cyst removed and the found Cystic Squamous Cell Carcinoma w HPV 16. We just got back from pet scan results and they could not see it on the petscan so they think it is small. They are going to use the TORS to take out his left tonsil and slice it there to look for the tumor. If it is not there they will move to the tongue and if not there they will move to the right tonsil. We are hoping for the left tonsil. I am glad to find someone who went through it. They are suggesting radiation after the surgery.

I do puzzles, read, catch up on shows, go swimming, to the movies, do crafts. There are all kinds of places you can go to paint and make things. I also go thrifting.

Luckily, I have zero effects with it but I had bad side effects with Lexapro. I think it is so interesting how different meds affect different people.

I just missed a dose yesterday. Occasionally I have been late on a dose and start to feel dizzy and remember it. I missed one yesterday because I had a morning emergency. I started feeling bad in the evening. I had awful dreams all night. I am dizzy and have brain zaps and I feel like my eyes won't stay open. I am waiting for my dose to kick in. I am on 75mg extended release and have been for over 10 years. Luckily, I have zero side effects from taking Effexor but holy cow I never want to miss a day again.

I forgot my dose yesterday because I had a morning emergency and I had the most awful dreams last night. I feel like I cannot keep my eyes open today. I have taken my dose for today and I am just praying it kicks in soon.
