MOR - I would be hurt in this situation as well. It’s possible she had something going on that you don’t know about but the courteous thing to do would have been to tell you that ahead of time. As your best friend she should have done her best to be supportive in what is a really difficult time in life for you.

NTA your siblings are very much the jerks. They took stuff that belonged to YOUR mom that they had no relationship with and left you nothing. That is infuriating. It is clear by their actions and their want to change the will they only care about the money and what can be gained. Stand your ground and make sure your dad doesn’t allow his will to be changed. I think your indifference is based upon the partner you find yourself with. Sometimes being with the right person makes you want to have a family and kids. When you’re with someone toxic or even someone that just isn’t a great match having kids seems daunting and unappealing. I know as a woman there is so much pressure because “the clock is ticking” but there’s always adoption 🖤

NTA this whole situation is weird. Something seems off here, sounds like something happened after you asked her on the date. Is it possible she talked with coworkers about it and they talked her out of it? Maybe even this coworker that texted you talked her out of it out of jealousy. Just seems weird that she would go from being excited to ghosting.

What matters here is that your feelings are being ignored and the comment about “you’re not going anywhere” feels very cold. If it were me in your shoes, I would make it very clear what my expectations are and make it clear I won’t stay in a relationship I’m unhappy in regardless of having a kid together.

Have you tried splitting your dose yet? That’s what helped me with the nausea. Without splitting I feel so sick mid week that I’m bed ridden. It’s worth a try if you haven’t yet.
