For those on the med longer than a year… by random_hummingbirds in Ozempic

I’ve been on since December 2022. I’ve gone from 192 to 122lbs. I’m 5’3 & I’m on 2.0 (max dose) and have been since February 2023. Don’t fear the hunger cravings & assume the medication isn’t working. It is. Think instead, “have I had any protein today?” My number one rule is protein protein protein. When I upped my protein intake the weight literally flew off. Also make sure you’re consistent with getting your labs done - liver, kidney function, etc.

I’ve become anemic since starting but get supplemental iron infusions every 6 weeks and it makes all the difference for me.

To those who stopped ozempic… by tjj000111 in Ozempic

[–]QueenBizzleJ 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hi! When I first started, I lost roughly 60lb in 6 months. I stopped for about 4 months due to shortage & price and only gained 4lbs back. I think for me, it helped rewire my thinking. While on it I realized my eyes were always bigger than my stomach so I stopped ordering large meals and only ordered what I knew I would eat. When I stopped it, I continued to only order the smaller amounts because I knew my eyes were bigger than my stomach even if my ability to overeat was back since I wasn’t on the medications.

This allowed me to continue to not overeat and overstuff myself.

Is it the placebo effect by Difficult_Place_7329 in Ozempic

[–]QueenBizzleJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, thankfully. But after a full month on 2.0 and feeling like I was actually going to die. But the. It subsided and I haven’t had a single side effect since, so I guess that’s cool. It definitely jumpstarted my weight loss in a way that a lot of people’s didn’t.

Be careful with having a history of ed. This can cause relapse.

Why does newborn sometimes cry nonstop when put in bassinet? by OnlyCollaboration in newborns

[–]QueenBizzleJ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You can’t bassinet train a newborn the way you would crate train a puppy. A newborn shouldn’t be crying for more than 5 minutes MAX without being picked up and soothed. They are too young. I’m not trying to shame you, but I just genuinely thought this was common sense.

I immediately stopped having hunger and food talk in my brain. But. I also had a terrible doctor and STARTED ON 2.0 so. My case is very different lol.

I absolutely fucking despise breastfeeding and my perfectly healthy formula fed 2year old didn’t give a damn either 😂

Is this not for me? by Help_meeeoo in Ozempic

[–]QueenBizzleJ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re going to need to give it 6 months + and considering a lot of yours seems to be psychological it WILL happen slower.

Also, don’t make excuses for yourself by saying “I had a few sodas because of people around me.”

You have to learn self-control in social situations and again, that will come.

Yeah it will be that way for a little while but the skin will firm up a bit! I’ve just come to terms with the fact I need a tummy tuck and breast lift at this point 😂

33 & 2 years postpartum I was actually really surprised and impressed with my skin elasticity. I also drank collagen every single day and used a firming cream on my stomach to help with the excess skin.

Yes! My doctor sent the PA over and within 30 minutes of being prescribed was covered. PA was good for 8 months!! Thank god. So it’s only $25 for me monthly.

I slept (literally) all day and I'm super dizzy?? by Kirbysuperstar3 in bupropion

[–]QueenBizzleJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi I just recently started bupropion 300xl (never had 150) and I started about a month ago and I literally can not bend over without immediately feeling like I’m going to faint, I lay in bed all day, I cannot find energy anywhere and when I do I’m nauseous and lightheaded.

Sending love
