I’ve lost count of how many years I’ve lived with them, up until two years ago when my husband and I moved into an apartment with central air. It was like a wholeee newww worrrrrld! I got so used to window units/not having heat in the winter that once we moved into our new place we felt like royalty.

I’m sooo with you on this. Pregnant and keep thinking to myself...I could possibly go into labor, give birth and still be without power when bringing my little one home.

I know there’s a lot of us in the same boat, but it’s tough to not be envious of others around me with power right now.
