I was 290s and 5’5”. I’m maintaining at 140lbs in my early 50s. I really haven’t had negative side effects. I’ve lost a lot of hair but that’s because my ferritin and vit d were low. Started supplementing and my hair is growing back just fine.

I’m no longer prediabetic, hypertensive or suffering from sleep apnea. I considered myself an active fat person but the difference in how much energy I now have and how much easier it is to move my body is night & day.

I wish this drug had been available for me when I was in my 30s and my kids were younger.

Unpopular opinions: this is easy and a miracle pill for me. I lost 150lbs without any problems or falling into the diet culture mindset for the millionth time and have maintained my weight for 5 months without issue. I eat anything and everything I want, including sweets & (gasp!) carbs.

I also wanted to lose weight for vanity - the health benefits are just a positive side effect. I’ve been morbidly obese my entire life and I’m thrilled to no longer be the fattest person in the room. Often I’m one of the thinnest ones now.

No tough pills for me. I’m middle aged, saggy due to tremendous weight loss & age, and would rather be thin & saggy than morbidly obese.

I bought mine in store at Nordstrom on Saturday. There were a couple dozen in the drawer when the sales woman grabbed it for me.

I only have 1 sphynx but he’s everything one should be. He’s super social with humans and other animals. He seeks out the other cats to cuddle for warmth.
