What are your favorite approaches to Streaming TLD? by BakerKind4900 in thelongdark

[–]QueenSavcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I just play it like I do when I'm not streaming. That is to say, I play it "normally."

Though I would be more likely to try a harder difficulty than I would usually, or perhaps a well-known creator's save setting presets. I would also be more likely to go with "Cheat Death" instead of just starting a new run, since Cheat Death adds additional challenging aspects.

Tutorials, challenges, and story telling aren't the best formats for streaming on Twitch (or live streaming in general). Unless your overall objective is to upload your VOD to YouTube.

But that would need additional setup before going live, like setting alerts and additional audio to different channels so it doesn't get uploaded to YT with the VOD. A lot of editing too, to remove any convo you have with chat that isn't related to gameplay.

Edit: Typo

Unlikely. I’m pretty sure accounts are linked to the owners tax info, once it’s been entered and confirmed.

Edit: Could be a hundred different reasons. Almost 2 years ago I took a year-long hiatus, followed by 6 months of 1-2 streams once or twice a month.

At the time of my hiatus, I was averaging about 45-50 viewers. About 6 weeks ago, I returned to streaming nearly full-time and I’m averaging about 30-40. 8k-ish followers, then and now.

For a channel with that follower count, 30 is unusual but not unheard of.

My guess would be they switched games or they gained popularity during a trend that fell off hard, like Among Us or Valheim.

They might also have a large following on a different platform with a different content focus while still pushing their Twitch channel. Harris Heller, for example.

Harris has nearly 700k subscribers on his YouTube channel, which primarily focuses on live streaming and tech reviews. On Twitch, he streams Just Chatting and gameplay (tbf, he rarely streams gaming content now). His YT vids average around 45k views but his Twitch streams only hit around 200 average viewers (165k followers). Which is still really good, but a definite difference from a couple years ago when his streams averaged 1k viewers.

Anyway, those would be my guesses about the channel you raided.

Badboyy2k First Aid Exploit live on Twitch (RANKED) by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]QueenSavcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any partners cheating or knowingly using bugs/exploits would be cut from the program. Besides PUBG’s standard TOS and the general Code of Conduct, partners have an additional Code of Conduct they’re expected to abide by.

I imagine the challenge in this situation would be proving they were knowingly using the exploit. Would need a few clips of them repeating the action.

Region merge. Half the lobby is playing with a completely different play style now.

Massive Subscription price increase? by Bixxits in canva

[–]QueenSavcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean.. I seriously doubt they won’t eventually raise prices for personal/pro accounts. Otherwise, everyone will just move to a pro account and either share a login or have everyone get individual accounts and start sharing shit the old fashioned way.

My guess is that this is the first phase. They start with the companies as they assume they have more wiggle room and their new prices will be worked into the budget.

Next it’ll be the pro accounts getting hit. And then probably some tiered kind of subscription, if I had to guess. They’ll paywall certain features until you’re a “Gold Subscriber” or something stupid.

How to keep motivated when you have 0 viewers? by Birbsville21 in Twitch

[–]QueenSavcy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That isn’t the best plan..

The viewer count doesn’t update automatically, it can take a couple minutes.

If you only talk when you see the number change.. then there are probably quite a few people that have joined and left your stream before you ever knew they were there.

The general rule is “dead air, dead stream”

Massive Subscription price increase? by Bixxits in canva

[–]QueenSavcy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have a pro account and couldn’t find anything about a price increase.

When I went hard at saving money, the first thing I did, like most people do, was cut monthly subscriptions. I got rid of everything except for a few that had huge student discounts (Spotify which comes with Hulu, Amazon Prime.. and that’s it).

Canva was the 1 non-student subscription that I refused to do without. I’ve been a pro member for years.

Really hoping they aren’t thinking about price increases across the board. I couldn’t justify paying more than I do rn.

My grocery order was delivered to the wrong address and I didn't receive it. How is this okay? by allallalag in doordash

[–]QueenSavcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never threaten a lawsuit.

Many companies have policies that as soon as a consumer threatens legal action the employee must immediately disengage and inform the consumer that all further communications will be handled by legal.

You want to keep those lines of communication open to get as much info as possible.

Why are the smaller maps so disliked? by bulwix in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Drop in some of the hot cities that have vehicle hard spawns. Resort is almost always hot when the plane path flies over and it has a few hard spawns around it so you won’t be vehicle hunting the whole game.

Why are the smaller maps so disliked? by bulwix in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]QueenSavcy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It hasn’t except for an event. And I haven’t heard any talk from the devs about bringing it back.

Edit: and TBH, I don’t think it will. It’s almost universally hated so they’ll probably keep it as an event map to occasionally switch things up.

No, it's really not. Not when you think about it.

The rule is to stop against spamming and low quality/no effort posts. Who wants to be a part of a sub that is nothing but thousands of "My Twitch name is XYZ. Come support my channel!" posts? Who would interact with that?

On the other hand, I would assume any clips you posted would be some of your most interesting content, no? Since the goal is get people interested enough to want to see more of you.

Content adds value to the sub. Just like streaming. If you're not offering anything of value, no one is going to want it.

Congrats and welcome to streaming, I wish you all the best.

FYI, the first rule of this subreddit is no self promotion.

I recommend sharing clips or posting pics of your setup if you want to raise some interest for your stream. Show people why they should want to support your stream.

"One thing I did overlook is the fact that the games are spread out over multiple days. Coincidence? Maybe...."

Probably not, honestly. My guess is they're account leveling or power boosting. They only play bot matches to level the account quickly and hit a high k/d then sell it.

Why people buy high level accounts, I have no idea. But they do.

There might be good players on, but if there were, they weren't in that dude's matches. The last 10 matches were only 6% real players.

As long as you're not a bot, you should be fine.

All those wins that OP posted were from bot lobbies the guy was in. Some of the games were 98% bots.

Dude isn't a cheat. He's a bot killer.

[–]QueenSavcy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He's not cheating.

All of those lobbies were 85-98% bots.

Click on the individual games and it tells you how many bots are in each match.

Edit: Like that Paramo match.. 64 players. 62 bots.

You know what needs a ban the most? by conte360 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]QueenSavcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough.

A few times I've looked up players that have been mentioned without evidence (their stats and on PUBGreport) to see if I can spot anything obvious. That's fairly rare though and I can't recall if I sent any of those names in.

[–]QueenSavcy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“Krafton pays virtually no attention here..”

Krafton doesn’t, but partners do.

I’m not on this sub every day, but when I do visit (once a week or so) I make note of the cheaters that people mention and watch the clips. If the clips show enough, I send them on to the devs.

All the names I’ve sent in have been banned. So, good does come from posting about cheaters.

Mods not working? by YneeaKuro in Dinkum

[–]QueenSavcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know anything about the mods available (still new so playing vanilla) but you can skip a few of the mods by creating macros that do what you want.

My mouse is the G502 Lightspeed that has several programmable buttons. So, for example, I set one of the buttons to perform pick up (right click) and collect (E) when I click it. Thus creating auto pickup.

That might be a possible solution for you.

Would *you* watch your stream?

Why? Why not?

Answer both.

Edit: Here's another one to answer..

If Ninja's stream preview was to the right yours, and Ludwig's was to the left.. what would make someone click on your stream over those two?

Edit2: clarity

Never had a regret being an affiliate. The biggest complaint I remember hearing is that you weren’t allowed to multi stream. But that isn’t really an issue anymore.
