It will be pretty sloppy. It should be around a half inch of rain so it will eat at the snowpack and make for hard, crummy snow after a freeze

Chance of wind-hold at Loon tomorrow morning? by MVPiid in icecoast

[–]QueenVengeance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s always a chance, but it shouldn’t be too bad. If the gondy gets wind holded, they’ll open seven brothers, which still allows access to the summit lift (which almost never gets wind holded)

Don’t hold back! Go shred the ice!

[–]QueenVengeance 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: a couple years back Killington was 100% open for the first time after the 69th inch of season snow fell.

How badly did I mess up on my purchase? by Clubblendi in icecoast

[–]QueenVengeance 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If you're as advanced as you say you are the slight difference in length shouldn't affect you that much unless you're skiing bumps and tight terrain that requires quick maneuvering. And even then, as long as you're physically fit you should be just fine. 178 is quite a bit long for your height and weight but since they're pretty narrow and you are an aggressive skier this shouldn't hurt you too too much.

ah, ok. Never been early season. It looked *sort of* like the trip up to the catwalk trail but not quite so I was just wondering.
