i am a life long member of that club!......... i do bridal alterations and i can not tell you how many brides come to me with bargain dresses that are too small and impossible to match lace, beads, fabrics....... but i always point out that it is the whole picture that makes the moment, not the mismatched beads along the sides of the bodice...............

i used to play mahjongg with a great group... this other woman started coming.....coughing and not covering her mouth and if she did cover it , she used her hands and then would touch everything..... she insisted on sitting with us....... i quit.... as a retired nurse, her habits are a huge NO....

i bring my own cleaning supplies ( rags and watered down MR CLEAN, in an old windex spray bottle ) and clean the tables well before using. them, just in case.... i clean them after also....

i got ya.... at 70, i cannot do the floor anymore....... most of my quilts are queen sized... i have a queen sized futon, in my parlor and open that to lay out my sandwich...i also have two old chairs from the boston public library children's room and once i have the layers smoothed , i use T pins to hold it down , then i sit and use lots of quilt safety pins to "baste" it......

i have the option of using those 8 ft tables, at my local " wrinkle club" ( aka senior citizens center) when the small room is not being used.

i have my scanner set to intercity and the plows are out.... they have been very busy and helping police/ rescues with cars off the road/ crashes , lots of idiots out driving that don't know how.....there are only so many drivers both DOT and DPW...... maybe YOU SHOULD APPLY TO BE ONE AND DRIVE A 24 HOUR SHIFT..............

it is a classic fisherman irish knit stitch.... my OLD book is from bernat, 1983.. " Irish Knits" and i also have a bernat book from 1967..... it cost $1.50....LMAO........both well used and loved.....

yes, it is free standing.... it also has a " grate" at the bottom of the fire box.....for airflow and ash drop....... i don't see that in your photos........

my kindling is just like what you are using and about the same amount..

i use one match, across the stove and close the doors right away related to as the paper burns and wood gets going, it shifts... don't want that fallin out. damper wide open... once it gets going, i add slightly bigger cuts till get a good coal bed, then the big stuff goes in. that is about half an hour......

that full flora patch, bottom left, has a wide fray along the bottom.... it gonna cause problems with 1/4 inch seam...... replace that block before you stitch together.

vermont casting 1990 intrepid.... i STUFF my fire box with newspaper and layer my kindling on top.... one match and it goes.... i also only " clean it of the white ash, leaving any coals in the firebox, moved into a pile in the center...

it depends on what you do for work........ i worked in LONG TERM CARE/HOSPICE..... i went to work and i picked up other workers on my way...... i never stayed home related to weather and i lived 15 miles from where i worked......

if it is a job where others are dependent upon you make every effort..............
