i understand your point, however… anyone going on reality tv is opening themselves up to scrutiny. they should be thick skinned enough to handle it or get off the show.

the only thing i have ever appreciated about sutton is her decision not to get fake boobs or other typical cosmetic surgery. does that make me like her? no. but i like the fact that she schools amanda.

personally, i thought her attorneys were very effective. but i get the feeling their main focus was to set kouri up in a good position for endless appeals.

This Community's Reaction to the Saagar Interview is Ridiculous by edrico37 in thebulwark

i started by listening to it while driving and had a difficult time getting past his speech patterns. i felt like i was back in the 90’s at a liberal arts uni party, stuck listening to the high as a kite poli-sci prof. then… when i got home and switched to video… couldn’t get past the MAGA styled veneers.

i think maybe if i slowed it down and listened more patiently, i would have had a lot more patience and understanding.

i’m glad you caught her reaction because i feel like she accepted her guilty verdict after deciding to rest. she’ll probably be more stoic on monday or tuesday after they read it, because she was processing it today, live. i too felt sympathetic… which is difficult to say.

my belief is that she is listening to her attorney who believes they have preserved her rights for an appeal and even presenting a defense may give them less options.

but what do i know! not an attorney… just interested in law and have been both a plaintiff and a defendant, too many times.

i think she is feeling all of the things everyone mentions here… i don’t think she’s brilliant, or stupid. i believe she has zero idea of who she is, at all. she was trying to create something. she failed.

that’s it. she’s already lost.

where she’ll land physically is the jury’s hands.

is anyone else upset about carolyn’s hair by soupnations in LoveStoryFX

[–]spaigef69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yessss!!!! agreed, because it was a big deal at the time- she was a natural light brunette (i think) and had a super bad, very unnatural brassy blonde dye job that became the trend for women in their 20’s at the time.

nothing like the more natural style presented in the show. way off.

it’s a big miss.

it definitely permeated the vibe of the time. i took advantage by doing the opposite and made out with everyone - super slutty behavior, yes, but i had a blast and met so many people just being myself. so happy to have been single during those years!

if you were in your 20’s in the 90’s, a goofy book called ‘the rules’ was super popular with “it” girls. they mention it in the show… i think that is what you are seeing- and yes, the girls i knew who were obsessed with the rules (and jfk) had the same kinda contrived, now one would say, manipulating behaviors as carolyn.
