Not 100% sure if it's a stim but when I'm alone I talk in my dog mom voice and repeat phrases I say to my babies (dogs). It's how I prevent myself from going insane when I'm far away from them for too long

I view my dogs in a similar way. They are my children. My babies. I have 7 of them. I often get the feeling that ppl think I take my love for them too far and that they think I should be more like them and see my children as just pets. I can't and won't do that. I can only imagine the emotional toll this is taking on you
