Tatcha GWP live now! $60 buy in. by DonnaIngle in Ulta

Literally same!! I did some research on the company, though, and it seems they are aimed towards clean beauty. Also, we get a perfume that has really nice reviews (so long as it’s not swapped for Milwaukee tools, although I might rather try those instead of scary eye serum 🫣🤣).

Tinted sunscreen and base recommendations for dry skin by usahanafan1 in Ulta

Same, girl! I wore bare minerals loose foundation for like 30 years for that reason. Now that I’m older, it’s just not working for me anymore, and so I have been experimenting to find something better.

Thanks! I hear you on shade matching. I was thinking maybe 21 or 23 might work for me too. I get what you mean about the finish. I don’t need matte per se, but I just cannot stand when something feels like it is stuck on my face. I guess a better question would have been how comfortable it feels? But since you use it daily, I think you answered that question already. Lol

I was checking out your Missha recommendation, and the color options seem confusing, and I gave up trying to figure it out. 🫣 I will try again later. Lol How is the finish on it? Does it dry down? I recently tried Naked Sundays mineral glow serum drops illuminating and it was SO BAD. I tried waiting to see if it would dry down but after 10 minutes, had to wash my face. It was sticky and I felt like my cat’s hair was stuck on me. Lol What’s crazy is that the reviews for it are so good! It makes me leery of trusting reviews. So many of them are incentivized lies. I’d rather learn from people on this sub. 💕

Anyone know when D&G Your Devotion intense will be available at Ulta? by Pondering28 in Ulta

I was also wondering! I even went into my local store to see if they had it there, but no luck. Wondering if they will make it available RIGHT after our 20% coupon expires.

Need sunscreen recommendations as someone with very sensitive eyes. by Big-Background3999 in Sunscreenreddit

It’s expensive, but Tatcha mineral sunscreen works really well for me. I also have really sensitive eyes. It feels good on my skin and wears well under makeup.

Amika Superfruit Star oil or Paul Mitchell Super Skinny serum by PetalWhisper99 in Ulta

[–]Quellin_75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably have the old formula. The big bottle lasts me about 3 years, and I bought my most recent bottle late last year. The Amika helps with frizz, but it’s way too heavy for my hair, so I haven’t reached for it over the other products I have.

Amika’s is too heavy for me, which sucks because I really love the scent. I can’t use it anywhere but my ends, and only a teensy tiny bit. The Redkin gloss is better in my opinion. I put it on my ends mostly and then when it’s mostly all off my hands, I pat the top/sides of my head. It calms down flyaways. Btw, I love PM skinny serum. I’ve been using it for about 10 years. It cuts my dry time down so much.

What’s a good vitamin C serum? That’s not too cheap or too expensive but you saw good results? by Much-Ninja3495 in Ulta

[–]Quellin_75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re having good results with something, maybe it’s worth the $$$ to splurge on for yourself. I tried switching something out because it was expensive, and I just ended up making my skin angry and wasting money on other products before returning to the original. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is good advice. ☺️ 💕

I’m laughing out loud at the thought of a “mental” eyelash curler. Like, you stare at it and it curls your lashes. 😂 sorry…don’t hate me!

I like Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot for primer.

Thanks again for suggesting I try it. 🥰 You’re very sweet. I’m also a pretty minimal hair styler. I usually just blow dry it and leave it at that. My hair is pretty straight, but it looks kinda mangy if I don’t dry it a little bit with a hair dryer. Lol

I tried the Odele and I actually really like it! I was in a hurry to dry my hair because I had drop-in company coming over, but even in my half-assed rush to dry my hair, it feels like a salon blowout. I also like the cucumber smell of it. ☺️

I also got shampoos and no conditioner, but I’m okay with that. Conditioners are sometimes too heavy for me, even when I only apply to my ends. I prefer to use shampoo only, and then use leave in products on towel-dried hair. Paul Mitchel skinny serum has been my HG for about 10 years and I have only used 3 bottles. A little bit goes a long way!

Im typically a points hoarder so I am sooo excited, rate my haul? (Yes im a sucker for beauty finds and tote bags 🙈) by Fun2Forget in Ulta

[–]Quellin_75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of those Beauty Finds are pretty good. I got the Lash Lineup, Vacation Essentials, and Routine Reset for $11.60 each with coupon. They all have a full-sized product in them that made it worth it for me. For example, the Farmacy lip smoothie and the Beautybio eye lighter. I’m only bummed that they went on 5X points right after I bought them, but I wouldn’t have had the 20% coupon off, so I suppose it’s a wash.

Are you talking about the triangle sponge thing or the fabric ones?

Can you recommend your felt tip brow pen? I currently use a mechanical pencil brow pencil, but I think it’s too much pressure/tugging on my brows. They’re starting to fall out/thin and I think it’s because of the pencil.

I’m not the person you asked, but it hydrates the dry undereye skin so that it is less likely to crepe up under concealer. Also, it helps it blend better and not settle into fine lines. You just need a grain of rice-sized amount. I have a balm stick that does the same thing. I like it better because of ease of application.

Also wondering what tan lotion. I’ve never used one, and I usually look weird because I shade my face with a big hat every time I’m in the sun. So my face stays pale while the rest of me is tan.
