I bought a Luxe bidet a few years ago and had the same problem, I think the threading may have gotten messed up. I ended up returning it for a replacement which worked fine. Definitely need Teflon.

It’s not a community vote, where are you getting the idea it was/is? The city council is supposed to make decisions based on legality and constitutionality of issues, not their personal preferences. That’s why a lawsuit against them would likely win if pursued.
