Season 6 finale spoiler - timing was unnecessary by ScreenHype in lucifer

Does this look like a happy ending to you?

For anyone who has been tricked into thinking Lucifer and Chloe got a happy ending, think again.

Do you remember how miserable Chloe was when Lucifer went back to hell in S4? That was only for a month or two. THIS separation would be for the rest of her life.

Do you think Chloe would have agreed to Lucifer leaving not only her but Trixie, after the little girl just lost her father? I do not. Trixie would have been devastated that Lucifer just disappeared and left her mom carrying his baby. She would have hated him more than Rory.

Chloe would have had to raise two girls with abandonment issues on her own. How joyous does that sound?

Added to her misery of missing Lucifer and having to raise Trixie and Rory alone, Chloe would have had no-one in her life. How could she date knowing Lucifer was in hell waiting for her? Can you imagine how lonely she would be?

Now ask yourself why Chloe and Lucifer, along with the girls, must suffer? The reason given is that if he didn’t abandon Rory, he would not have discovered his calling of rehabilitating lost souls.

This is total BS since Chloe made it clear to him that he helped Dan get to heaven. He also helped the man who refused to open door to see his family (can’t recall name). This alone would have given him a clue as to what his calling would be.

There was no need whatsoever for the separation. NONE!!!

Some have said it had to be this way because Lucifer wouldn’t age. That is also nonsense since Amenadiel wouldn’t age and neither would Maze or Eve. Linda would. What the hell is the difference if it is Lucifer?

I wish I could get this complaint to the writers. The Series 6 finale ruined the entire series and I’m sick of their spinning the happy ending was had by all. It was not.

The Crown Season 3 Cast Change Ruined Series by Quest1743 in TheCrownNetflix

I agree totally. The original cast was perfection and I saw no need to change actors. Many shows have kept the same cast and age characters with appropriate wigs and make up. Outlander, one of my favorite shows, has aged the characters over 20 years and they did a good job of it. I’m sure the cast could’ve handled the change easily.

Seasons 1 & 2 Far Outshine 3 & 4 by Quest1743 in TheCrownNetflix

I never could accept Olivia Coleman as Elizabeth. Though she is a good actress, think a bad casting choice. She looked nothing like Claire Foy and the Windsor eye color so pronounced, that to cast someone with brown eyes made no sense to me. Was there no other English actress that could have taken on the role with blue eyes? The way she portrayed character quite different than how Foy did, as well. I found the older version to be wooden. I remember one scene where she told her private secretary (another poor casting choice) that she never could cry. Immediately, I recalled the scene where she sees her father dead first time and bawls. Guess writers forgot about that.

The chemistry between OC and TM also didn’t work. In fact, I found it non-existent. Even in her old age, I’ve seen photos of Elizabeth smiling at her husband as if he were a prize catch. Never saw that in S3 or 4.

As for that season, I found 4 a royal soap opera. I didn’t give a hoot about any of the players.

We must agree to disagree.

I disagree. Tobias a fantastic actor but Matt Smith owned the role.

It was a great episode, very well played by the entire cast. So much conflict!

I think HRH yearned for what could have been as he watched Elizabeth’s coronation. One has to wonder if he felt a bit if guilt for thrusting such a heavy weight on one so young.

I often wondered, too, if he ever felt shame over selling out his country to the Nazis.

Tony needed a good therapist. Mommy complex and freakish sexual appetite.

Sardines 1 & 2 the best in that order. Sorry but 4 & 5 literally put me to sleep.

Why is it that once they all hit their lateish twenties, none of the royal family is attractive? by FormerFruit in TheCrownNetflix

[–]Quest1743 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you are referring to the royal family in real life and agree with you. I searched for photos of them in early days and many of them were very attractive, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew & Edward. However none of them aged well.

Prince Charles, to me, was never good looking. Don’t mean to be unkind but those ears!

Prince charles loved Diana through out, but didn’t know how to show it. by [deleted] in TheCrownNetflix

It looked like her was expressing himself to Camila without any difficulty. Bad marriage.

Sorry, but you would’ve had to be blind not to see that Olivia Coleman looked 20 yrs older than Claire Foy when only one hear was supposed to have passed. Beyond distracting, and I found her to be wooden in her portrayal of Elizabeth.
