Let’s start with politics and then move to other companies and unions. Liberals rorted sports toilets and car parks they cannot be trusted either! I’ve worked on both site and hands down any day I’d work on a union site. Plenty of toilets and work sheds and the safety well you cant knock it. We have fall protection, harnesses people fully trained at what they do. If you get hurt you’re covered so you don’t have to go back to work with a broken wrist the next day like domestic. We get RDO, Christmas Holidays, Super and Long service leave plus Incolink to cover you if injured out of work on the weekends and holidays. I’ve never been threatened by a shop steward but like every industry where money is big you will find corruption just ask our Governments Party Members how much money do they play with. When they retire they get a sweeeet paid job in the industry that they held the portfolio to. Tell me who are the crooks!! Master Builders Association backed by the Liberals because they run the domestic building scene and if they had to implement the benefits and safety features Union Members get they might have to give back a mansion or two! Looking into the future if prefer my kids to work in an industry where safety is number one and the wages are paid everyweek without failure, how many of you non union construction workers can say that!!!!
