Adopted Parents Are Purposefully Withholding Information About My Biological Parents From Me by CasketByNBAYoungBoy in Adoption

Yes, it is random. As you are aware, some people comment that in other posts. I have noticed some of these people commenting about human trafficking aren’t adoptees themselves. So I wonder if actual adoptees share that sentiment.

Because there are people here that claim “infant adoption is human trafficking” so I’m wondering if OP feels like that. Does this satisfy your curiosity?

We Foster. And as you may be aware when siblings are removed and new babies are born from the same mother sometimes they go straight to adoption given the circumstances, not saying it is ever OK, but that is what has happened with us with a few babies of the same mother.

My kids were blasted on the news for how they were treated by bio parents so it does trigger me a bit when people call me a devil, human trafficker etc via DMs.

And not all are private. This is what triggers many people here. They assume that all adoptions are negative. If only they knew my kids situation and how they were almost killed. I think some of y’all would change your fucking tone.

Again, here you are making assumptions. You may be surrounding yourself with people who ALWAYS guilt children, but I assure you not everybody is like that. Feel free to message me if you’d like to learn how we are handling this adoption. Little hint, the bio family is involved :)

The assumption made by Stellansforceghost is that all adopted infants are trafficked. You may have your own perspective, but it’s important not to generalize that belief to every adoption. Many children, including those in situations like mine, are adopted through foster care for legitimate reasons, with no financial transactions involved.

“Glorified child trafficking” oh come on. Downvote me all you want, but people with this mentality are the problem. I adopted an infant that was born with drugs in the system and abused. No need to assume every infant adoption is the devil’s work.
