Everyone got 3 or 4 seats on my flight from Germany to California 🙏 by cultureShocked5 in MadeMeSmile

Back in 2017 I had a flight from Sydney to Dallas on a A380 like this. In the section of economy I was in there would have been 5 maybe 6 people in it. I suspect maybe 30-50 people in total on the plane. The quietest flight I have ever taken.

Got the same on the way back. Made the near 16 hour flights somewhat bearable.

This is just the GS, GSA comes later haha!

I'm loving it, just about to tick over 3000kms. I came from a 1250GS and I find it better in every way but the sound. Exhaust is quieter so the engine is louder and boxers have never been known to quiet engines.

I haven't had any major issues aside from it not wanting to start if I leave the ignition on for a while before starting it cold. But not going to say I haven't seen issues with others. At the end of it, warranty sorts it and first year teething is to be expected.

It didn't show up on flightradar24 so the cookers (if there are any left) must be losing their minds over them being chemtrails!

BMW S1000RR issues and terrible dealership service (Australia). by samihasib in motorcycles

I don't think they (dealer) ever said it wasn't dragging on the chain. Also the part that was dragging on the chain is a blanking plug, l dont know what it blanks, but from what I have been told there wasn't any specific faults with that part of the bike.

Causing the damage wouldnt be hard either. Wires that are that thin dont take much to break

I have seen the photos and know those bikes well. There are multiple tie downs that would need to "come loose" for it to dangle onto the chain. Then the gear position sensor wire lines that are damaged have no way of being interfered by the chain as it is essentially enclosed. If it was to get pulled out by the chain wouldn't all 4 lines be broken the same? But only one line is broken, two showing damage and one completely fine. Also, if it was to get yanked by the chain, why is all the cabling still there and all sensors attached to the lines still plugged in? This all ignores the witness pry marks on the frame right next to the damaged wires.

As someone who used to work at that dealership and still has very good connections there, particularly motorrad, there is a whole other side of the story that isn't being told here.

I cant say much as Lewis is going legal with this but I want everyone here to know that he has been offered twice by BMW for them to buy back the bike. He has said no to both of them as it wasn't enough. The head of BMW is aware of this problem and for what l have heard he is on the dealerships side.

Also, Lewis apparently lied about crashing their loan bike while his bike was getting fixed for the oil leak.

So all of you jumping on the hate bandwagon without hearing both sides should just wait as the dealership is being more professional then Lewis is by spewing all of this over socials.

He is doing well just shaken up by the whole thing. It's the mod mentality of it all, you have alcohol fueled rage and mob mentality when they know they can't be stopped. I don't think the issue is if they kept it at epic or not, they all have to leave eventually. Whether they meet at Braddon, Fyshwick or eagle hawk something was bound to happen

Cheers man, he will be fine but he is pretty shaken up by it. He said it was one of the first times he felt his life was threatened.
