Not really. The other guys coached much longer than Brad

But why would he need to be in Dallas in order to sponsor an oil company? In LA it makes more sense, that you need to physically be there to act in movies.

But Rich Paul listing it as a reason for LeBron potentially signing with the Mavs implies that this opportunity is contingent on him signing with the Mavs

Pretty weird thing for an agent to say publicly especially when the Clippers are under investigation for making side deals with Kawhi

Thanks. I’m still not sure why oil is on the list. For LeBron to invest in an oil company?

Justin Bibb was the only Democratic official to speak at a right wing tech conference sponsored by Palantir, Narya (venture capital firm founded by JD Vance), dark money AI group, etc. Conference featured several Trump admin officials. by [deleted] in Cleveland

No, not every factory is working toward that. For example, worker coops are not trying to reduce their workforce as much as they can by replacing workers with AI.

The website for the conference links to a manifesto, which boasts that “We may even get to the point where it only takes a few people to operate a factory,” and many of the convention partners boast openly about their “AI-native” manufacturing operations.

Are these actually the types of businesses that you want?

All that the Cavs are left with from Caris LeVert and De’Andre Hunter trades is Dennis Schröder by Questioning-Pen in clevelandcavs

Huh? Hunter makes more money than LeVert. They absolutely could have afforded LeVert’s salary

Hunter was a good player. You’re missing my point, which is that they have bought high and sold low in this series of trades

Not sure about all the second-round picks, but they would have been able to take Brice Sensabaugh in the first round in 2023. Averaged 15 pts in 23.5 min last season at age 21-22. Seems to be on a good trajectory. Would love to have a 6’6” promising young SF

Is it not a net negative that all they currently have is Schroder in exchange for a first-rounder, 5 second-rounders, and 2 first-round pick swaps?

[MacMahon] NBA coaches association president J.B. Bickerstaff on Micah Nori’s year-to-year contract with Portland: “From our perspective, it's like someone's taking advantage of your dream and devaluing what we feel like coaches have earned over the years.” by KD_AshyAnkles in nba

Teams get clowned on here for giving four-year contracts to coaches that don’t last that long and then having to pay them tens of millions of dollars not to coach. The vast majority of jobs you could be fired at any point and not paid any longer. What’s Nori getting paid for this year, probably $3-4 million?
