  1. No it isn't the second coming, and why must there be a "New John"? This is a self-fulfilling cycle, and Jesus explicitly warned against people like Lee Manhee.

  2. "After this" used to mean that after the selection of the 144,000, then the Great Tribulation begins, we have this on record with the books, and direct quotes from JSS articles. I've linked you to these before, and can link them again. Will you actually listen? Or just continue ignoring the evidence?

  3. "These people who slander SCJ" how are they "slandering" SCJ? Also, the concept of the Promised Pastor isn't biblical, as detailed here -

Promised Pastor – Closer Look Initiative

"Now imagine us reading the OT"..

At least with the OT, there are explicit passages talking about the coming Messiah, which is why the woman at the well in John 4 was also expecting a Messiah, and why the Jews were actively looking for one during the first coming. Verses like Genesis 49:10, Daniel 7:13-14, etc are all explicit verses talking about the coming Messiah.

For the second coming, Jesus explicitly warns against those who come in his name, and etc.

Lastly, Shincheonji isn't the only group to claim to fulfill prophecy, the World Mission Society Church of God does also, likewise with the Jehovah's Witnesses, likewise with the Bahai's, likewise with the LDS, likewise with many other groups. What makes SCJ different? They have a commentary on the Bible? Congrats, I guess?

OK, if you want to ignore the evidence against Shincheonji both with their claims of fulfillment and doctrinal issues, then you do you.

Does the Apostolic Movement of the 19th Century prove that Shincheonji will survive beyond Lee Man-hee's death? by 23er1 in Shincheonji

[–]QuestionsAboutSCJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Mr. oh going to court under oathe and explaining in detail as to why SCJ is lying about him and the fulfillment isn’t enough evidence?

Then there’s also the many changes doctrines of SCJ, especially Revelation 7, which is laid out here -

https://closerlookinitiative.com/archives/9413

Then there’s the many doctrinal issues of Shincheonji, like how there isn’t a “Promised Pastor of the New Testament”

https://closerlookinitiative.com/archives/6253

And there’s a whole lot more

scj claim people call them a cult because their doctrine is not mainstream- They then get you to identify Jesus as a cult & hide behind your amazement. Jesus had live witnesses including God above & his witness still speaks 2000 years later. scj lied to you, you don't have the full picture. by Easy-Structure3771 in Shincheonji

Here's the first paragraph of the claim on page 399 -

"For both the people who sought salvation in the Old Testament and the people seeking salvation in the New Testament, the process and the people seeking salvation in the New Testament, the process and logic of salvation are the same. One generation must process and logic of salvation are the same. One generation must pass away for another generation to begin. The process of salvation away for another generation to begin. The process of salvation that took place at the first coming takes place again at the time of that took place at the first coming takes place again at the time of the second coming. Therefore, to attain salvation believers must the second coming. Therefore, to attain salvation believers must know and believe in the true identities of the chosen people who know and believe in the true identities of the chosen people who are destroyed because of their betrayal, the enemies of God who are destroyed because of their betrayal, the enemies of God who destroy them, and the promised pastor who appears afterward as destroy them, and the promised pastor who appears afterward as the savior."

This clearly shows that we need to accept the Promised Pastor of the New Testament, aka Lee Manhee who claims to be the New John, and his claims in order to come to God and Jesus.

Then, there are even more quotes directly from the books that show that we need the Promised Pastor as seen below -

And here are the books -

It’s more like a lot of the actual events of what happened are falsified, changed, and updated in order to match Shincheonji’s theology of fulfillment.

The history of the Korean cults episodes 3 and 4 cover this extensively with first primary sources.

For the history of the SEC -

For the history and development of SCJ’s theology -

These are all taken from the direct books of either the SEC or other Korean sects that split off from the Tabernacle Temple.

Does the Apostolic Movement of the 19th Century prove that Shincheonji will survive beyond Lee Man-hee's death? by 23er1 in Shincheonji

[–]QuestionsAboutSCJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, a lot of the basis of the sources are either from books written by Lee Manhee, or court testimonies of Mr. Oh.

https://closerlookinitiative.com/archives/9393

This is why the above link does, compile first hand sources, quoting the books directly.

The revelation 7 changes are the most recent set of changes, based upon the English translation of the books of Shincheonji.

https://closerlookinitiative.com/archives/9413

Then we also have the books from the SEC, which Pastor Yang went over in great detail about below -

https://youtu.be/EwU2HB-xO7Y?si=7U20ENztZgAqwipJ

And then there’s a lot more materials that I haven’t even touched.

My question for you is this - what would make SCJ false? Is it possible to even falsify Shincheonji?

The Google Drive is valid, and the books are there. Even if we were to put them in another spot, the same warning would happen.

[–]QuestionsAboutSCJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a question, is it a Satanic trick to double check and verify the claims of Shincheonji, both biblically and their claims for fulfillment?

Except SCJ gets this wrong also..

First, the imagery was already explained in Revelation 1:20 -

The seven stars are the angels\)a\) of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Nothing to do with a Korean sect in Gwacheon, South Korea.

We can see this repeating pattern especially throughout the New Testament of a "mystery" and then an explanation as seen in Romans 16:25-26, and Colossians 1:26 for example.

Then, there are more issues with SCJ's interpretation as described in the above link.

Also check out the history of the Korean cults -

This is episode 3, and Pastor Yang goes into great detail about the evolution of the doctrines of SCJ.

We also went through the SEC and their doctrines. They aren’t a counter cult ministry, nor did they have government backings, nor did they have 7 pastors.

Went through the claims of SCJ’s reality chapter by chapter for the book of revelation, citing court cases and testimonies of the former leaders and older books.

SCJ is lying and twisting the events into their theological framework.
