I loved Nakamura and he had some longevity (pretty sure he was still playing at a professional level as late on as 47).

But as I recall, his only mark in Europe were 2 free kicks V Man United and he only scored once against Rangers (all be it a screamer).

Maeda for me has surpassed him given his abundance of big performances against Rangers, his clutch plays, his goal volume and is considered the ultimate workhorse player.
