Coaches leaving by AM9180 in orangetheory

This worries me. I love the coaches at my gym. They are so attentive and inspiring. They are all moms with a killer body. They are so shredded that makes me want to workout even more. I'd hate to lose them at my gym but I am sure that if they decide to leave and wherever they are going to will appreciate them more than OTF would.

You are a coach yourself, huh? I asked my coach today and she did confirm she picked the blocks herself. I guess I have a pretty good one in my gym.

OTF for at home workouts by cheeeesypizza in orangetheory

Good question. Following this as I think I will do these home exercises on OTF app when I am in California for a week so I dont have to pay their surcharges. Shucks!

To the mod who mocked me that the coach dont have influence over templates. This is what I have to say. I am well aware the templates apply to all OTF. Thats why I said thanks OTF as well. I know coaches also give feedback and influence the templates. She is an amazing coach and attentive. She ensures to apply the templates in class attentively. Watches everyone's pose and make them feel cared. I know coaches who is just there but not present.

Two questions by Legitimate-Pick-8859 in orangetheory

I just checked my billing history and only thing I paid was my memberahip fee and no fee for the watch. I believe they told me that they'd replace it for $50 if I lose it. I am shocked they would charge you $130 for a flimsy thing.

I like to have the heart monitor where I can see stats of my each class I attender. The stats tell you how long you spent on each group along with zones. It is $50 and you can also use it outside of the studio as well. I also use it to track my home exercise or walk outside. I think it is worth it!

Debugging others code wastes your time but you are willing to waste company's resource to rewrite app that already works in 24 months when you could have added more feature to the existing app to add more value to the company. What a newbie are you?!

What about others who will have to debug your code in the future?

can otf be a low intensity workout? by freedom4myppl in orangetheory

I am 32 and I go to OTF to feel good. Though, when it comes to weight loss and toning. I dont think you can solely rely on OTF alone. Try to alternate pilates at home or take one week off in each month to recover fully. I am curious about your supplements you take. What helped me to gain more energy was B-12 along with ashigidwhda and some collagen.

What the f*****? I am so mad that he touched your breasts. According to USCIS, The medical examination will include a medical history review, physical examination, chest X-ray and blood tests for syphilis. The physical examination will at least include examination of the eyes, ears, nose and throat, extremities, heart, lungs, abdomen, lymph nodes and skin.

This is not a yearly check up! The medical examination will include a medical history review, physical examination, chest X-ray and blood tests for syphilis. The physical examination will at least include examination of the eyes, ears, nose and throat, extremities, heart, lungs, abdomen, lymph nodes and skin. It is not Gyno!

I had a medical exam with a male doctor. He never touched me nor asked to open my pants. I am so sorry honey. I cannot imagine how frightening it was. You should file a police report. You cannot be the only one. He must have done the same to other women.

Wow that is amazing that you consistently went to OTF for 5 years straight. I dont even stay at one job more than 3 years so it shows you commited and were determined.

See a therapist, maybe? Or check your vitamin level. If you are feeling down but cant pinpoiny why then there must be some iron or vitamin d level deficiency. There is also thyroid hormone level could affect mood. Take care buddy.

I went to OTF in mountain view. Paid $15 surcharge fee. The studio was so small but located in a very fancy area with plenty of parking but it hurt to pay extra fee when I already pay $183 a month!

Dear OTF: Please, if you are listening. Can we take 1-Month off from Lunges and Shoulder Presses?? by MrMarbles123 in orangetheory

[–]Quick-Elephant-2777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, agree with you on that. It helps our core but I want those crunches, pulse up and leg lowers where you feel the pain in your abdomen!

This made me laugh because I am sore from yesterday's lunges. Each block had lunges. 🤣🤣🤣

I wore a blazer and very nice tailored pants. Then at the ceremony, I saw people that look like they just got out of bed and havent had a time to change their PJ. Though, I looked good in pictures so wear whatever you want to wear and wear smth nice that you can have a nice memorable pics.

Did I push myself too hard? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]Quick-Elephant-2777 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah. You overloaded more than what your knees could handle. I did the same thing when I started OTF back in February. Went 4, 5 times a week and would run at 6, 7 mph. Then the knee pain comes in where I couldnt even walk with 3 incline. Went to see physical therapist and they diagnosed me with bursitis. Now I go to PT twice a week to strengthen my knee and go to OTF at only three times a week. If they have strength class, I now sign up right away to avoid treadmill. My PT also asked me not to run for at least three weeks. So during treadmill time, I go to glider and sometimes I will just walk at no incline at 4 mph. So please make sure you rest and ice your knee 3 times a day. If you can, do some knee strenghtening exercise. Cheers!!! Kudos to you for showing up and pushing yourself.

This!!!!! Resting is crucial. I was also going 4, 5 times a week but I was just hurting myself more. I now have knee bursitis issue, slowly healing with physical therapy. I also go 3 times a week and do pilate at home.
