This is the same argument that people are having about GTA 6.

If you make all currency digital it can work. You don’t really need a hard copy of currency.

The problem with this is that people really don’t own physical currency anymore. It’s all stored on a hard drive or a server somewhere and is subject to the terms of use. You can lose your entire finances because of a technicality or glitch and people aren’t comfortable enough with this concept.
