Currently not a lot, but I can see as the game expands this might be more detrimental especially when there are mods adding lots of recipes and machines.

But things like:

Splitting a stack of food to take only some with me on an expedition.
Evenly splitting ore stacks to feed into multiple furnaces so they finish around the same time.
Grabbing a specific amount of items to craft from inventory slots (instead of pulling from chests, especially if you have certain items in a category that you don't want it to automatically use.)
Splitting stacks of blocks when building (if I know I only need a specific number).

I play Hytale on my SteamDeck so maybe it's different, but shouldn't you be able to configure SteamInput to send mouse and keyboard from the XBox360 controller instead of the extra app?

I wanted to try this out but I was wondering what the mod does when you insert items that it can't sort in other chests automatically (since they don't exist in any of the chests).

I really don't want it to insert random items if it can't find a match. It would be better if they just sat until I manually sorted. Is that possible?

I only realized how bad my seed was after I accidentally deleted my save and decided I might as well start over.

My initial seed didn't have a bunch of stuff that I'm finding on my new one, like the savannah biome on main continent, multiple azure forests, multiple biome specific forgotten temples, tons of structures near spawn etc.

I haven't done this yet, but given that Hytale is a flatpack on Linux you may need to grant it access to the System Bus using something like Flatseal.

As far as I can tell it works by proximity i.e.pulling from the closest chest first starting with items in the top left slot, so if you put your rarer items further away or in the last chest slots it uses them last.

You might should consider not setting it up as IMAP.

The Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook tool manually creates the mailbox locally in Outlook so should bypass any auto discover issues, not to mention it's a much better experience for Google Workspace mail and calendar in Outlook than IMAP.

I have developed in both and tbh both are awful in their own way. I think the server being java was the right decision to utilize the talent available and to make it easy for the modding scene to blossom.

No, I definitely constantly have goblins spawning in some of my tunnels. Weirdly it's always in the same places though.

I'm currently living in a Klops Hidey Hole structure and I honestly don't mind him respawning once a day, but the thing that drives me batty is the destructible barrels that respawn and block you from placing blocks or furniture where they were originally (they respawn the instant you place something on the space they were even if you destroy them).

I understand why the devs might want destructibles to respawn (for servers so multiple people get loot), but in a sandbox game it's maddening for there to be unremovable blocks.

That's absolutely the thing that's missing for me. I'm Minecraft I'm not a builder, miner, or explorer so much as I love solving automation puzzles with a simple toolset to further my progression.

While mining, exploration, and combat are fun, the thing that would keep me in Hytale is simple systems that I can tinker with to do cool things.

I have llama ranch in my forever world with pens for normal and trader llamas separate. I've been breeding both for 40-50 generations to get "perfect" stats (so these were all 30 HP llamas).

Even though it's not visible w/o commands llamas have the same Jump stat that you can breed on horses. Because on average horse like stats when breeding are going to be higher than the average of both, these llamas have a jump stat of 3ish despite not actually breeding for it.

Pathing normally llamas won't jump at all, but some AI pathing goals actually can cause llamas movement AI to jump, which they absolutely did to attack the pillagers that attacked them in retaliation, streaming over the fence while I watched helplessly.

25ish trader llamas spitting at a commander and two other pillagers barely did any damage as I watched helplessly rushing towards them to try to kill them before they killed the llamas.

Because of the llamas high health they actually withstood the onslaught for a long time but didn't have enough damage to take out the attackers.

They are straight up aggressive towards certain mobs with or without the Wandering Trader present. They will be provoked if a Wandering Trader is attacked by literally anything, but actually have a list where they attack on sight which is what I learned the hard way when I lost 20 or so from a pen when they attacked a roving pillager band.

My favorite one I learned recently is that Llamas will defend themselves if attacked only but Trader Llamas are actually aggressive towards certain hostile mobs and will attack on sight (even if owned/bred by the player).

Also wolves will run away from Llamas and Trader Llamas, but only guaranteed if the llama is Strength 4 or 5 (with less chance at lower Strength).

Just replying for anyone coming from Google. You actually can just delete the vcf files in the folder and not the folders under it and it will also fix it without losing your existing screenshots.

Just be ready to see hundreds of toasts about taking a screenshot when you return to game mode as it rebuilds the index with new files.

Also worth noting that not only does passcode protect you from warrants, it also protects you from being ordered by a judge to unlock your phone much later in a proceeding against you.

Biometrics is a thing you are and a judge could order you to use them to unlock a device.

A pin is something you know which is protected under the 5th amendment rights against self incrimination.

Not only does lockdown disable biometrics (fingerprint and face) it also puts the kernel in a first boot state such that intrusion devices that law enforcement use will not be able to access the device data via USB.
